God help us if Obi One gets anywhere near the first team again.
I seem to remember that he was a striker (alledgedly) last time he was here. Prior to that he was at Bristol Rovers I think where he played in defence.
Whereever he played I cant say that I was that impressed
Tobi played left back and, in truth, didn't look too bad but considering the strength of the opposition the back four, as a unit, looked suspect throughout.
VCD scored twice and had another couple of clear chances to add to that. We were the better side without being convincing.
Seven players that started against Stortford on the Saturday and three of the youngsters introduced at half time or just after. A new fella up front called Echanomi (once of Orient ?) who played the first 45 and at times looked quite lively although he did spend a lot of time on his back side. The young lad that came on second half up front (Stevens ?) looks to me like he could be a decent prospect.
Didnt Jinadu go on to better after us? In the Conference?
Not really the best thing to slag off a player after one game. Perhaps Andy just wanted a look. Maybe he wants a left back to stick Cobbs in the middle?
We won that should bring a little confidence thats 2 on the spin.
Keep it up lads and keep going in the right direction. Well done all.

RE: Does anyone know what wellings score ended tonight??
Have to agree with Mr.Pastry the Vickers no. 11 looked very good.
I was also pleased to see Ellis put in a much improved display playing in his preferred right wing postion. He also put in some very effective corners.
Jinadu played left back which clearly is not his ideal position but to be fair he did n't play too badly.
