I hope you make it as a player, because with spelling and grammar like that you're destined to achieve little else.

It seems to be that there is still division between Kingsmoor and Corinthian.

If the first poster is a member of the Kingsmoor set up surely he should take the matter up with the club rather than posting on the forum.

When the Corinthians provide the reserves for Welling from their previous under 18's and they host the reserve games and allow the first team to train there for no charge, do you honestly believe it will be a even playing field for future players from the Kingsmoor Youth section.

Perhaps Kingsmoor need to look at another club to link up with then.

Perhaps they need to produce some quailty players? They produced NONE since they linked with Welling.

I would much prefer, Andy or someone to oversea the coaching of a 16s, 18s and reserves and say bye bye kingsmoor, maybe then the Fisher Welling conflict of interest would be finished.

I think JgFC has a personal agenda so wont comment too much on the above - a self funded, all ability youth section would always struggle to produce players for our standard and I don't think the Youth Section have ever claimed this was their sole reason for existing.  Reading their site the emphasis seems to be on community football.

I think they come in for a lot of flack on this forum, quite unjustified in my opinion, I have not heard of any bad press about them.  Certainly not doing the main club any harm.  Only been going a couple of seasons so bit early days to judge on player ability even if they did claim to be an academy.

Perhaps the reserves will produce some feed through but very early days.

Oh, I did think the Fisher/Welling prob is over as haven't all the staff left after Wayne Burnett's exit?

Perhaps we can give the original poster some encouragement rather than getting personal - just a thought.............

The reason why there was a ''dig'' at the first poster was that he appeared to have a ''dig'' at the reserve set up. If he feels that the reserve setup is unfar he could contact Barry/Barrie and Andy and state his reason for this. We have had a meet the manager evening recently, he could have brought his concerns up then.

The fact that the U16s have players in the county side is a good thing and is a credit to Kingsmoor. If he had just stated the good news regarding the call ups for the Kent side and not tried to undermine the club by having a dig then other people wouldn't have said anything back.

If you make a post and no-one can understand it then you are likely to get little more than ridicule.

This is the crux, GL said to me that its not all about ability and if a 17 year old that wasnt that technically good wanted to play for us then thats fine and he should be allowed to play and enjoy his football for Welling United Kingsmoor. My point was thats 80llox at that level we should be trying to bring players through for the club not making sure someone who is crap gets a kick about because we could be losing good players elsewhere just to keep someone who isnt any good happy.

Of course at younger levels then they have to enjoy it and play for fun and develop but having 16 and 17 year olds playing who are not going to be good enough is stupid.

I only played Cricket Senior Youth Level and played first team Secondary School Football and a few games in Kent, so was never good enough to play higher and drifted into pub level at both BUT at the same time..... We never had to carry players even at that level so i fail to see why we should at Youth level when they get to 16 at this standard of football. I guess the world has gone PC mad and dont offend mummy daddy or little Timmykins but its 8ollox

I wont knock the work the familys (Dean and Lisney and others) do for Kingsmoor but i will question the constitution and the benefits to this club and also the priorities of some of the coaches. I have no personal grudges just think that some of them arent acting for the club and arent good enough.

Ideally a squad at U16, u18 and reserves being funded by the main club - the community teams can still carry on - with Andy having someone in place to run these, would be ideal, agreed.  I am sure the youth section would be very happy with this if one of their aims is to produce players.

However, this needs to be funded or you will have the exact same issues again - with coaches volunteering and inevitably being involved elsewhere, or another club funding the reserves and ultimately having a say.

Can you fund this intiative with your greyhounds or know a man who can?

Why should JGFC fund the youth team, thats a stupid post from someone obviously connected to them.

But, posting as an anon takes away any accountabilty doesnt it.

pot, kettle!

I stand by the post as being a reasoned opinion, stating some issues and not personally attacking anyone, in essence agreeing with jgfc and ended with a touch of gentle irony.

Do you have an opinion at all?

this is my first post on the site. i have been reading a lot of the commits of poeple and great evryone is entiled to there thoughts.
i do fell the point is beeing missed by a few. surley by having two youth sides to pick from is better than one. and in turn better for welling to have more boys with the chance to come through.
we all hope that it is not the stupidity or arrigance of a manager to think only one youth side is good enough. that will only harm welling. regardless of who can offer the most.
if my grammer is not up to your standards, i oppligise now.idea

anon, I disagree with your assessment of the real point. In my opinion the real point is are these U16 lads ready for reserve team football as the original poster obviously believes and in short my view is no. If you want to see why that is my opinion you will find it in my response in the yout [sic] thread on the youth forum.
