I have completed the registration information to get set up on the forum, but have not yet had a confirmation. How long does this take on average?

Never mind that - just get your brother to stay at Welling and we will speed up the registration process.

Well guys, I'm sure Loui would be well pleased to hear such positive remarks. To be honest I haven't spoken to him in almost a year. I live in Seattle, and only get to hear about his football through websites like this.

I'm sure he wants to settle with a good club, and from what I read Welling is a good choice, but I know his dream is to get to the top of the game. I still haven't heard who has made the approach, but I'm sure Loui will give it real thought before he decides what to do.

Whatever happens, I hope you folks get up to the next division and keep on trucking from there on..... remember where the Wombles came from - it can be done!!

Well, now you've all got me stumped. I've being trying to figure out how you made the connection..... apart from the name. I don't recall putting out the fact that I'm Loui's brother, so please put me out of my misery - how did you know? Maybe I'm getting senile......

I guess I owe the administrators of the Forum an apology, I had mis-spelled my email address so of course their confirmation never reached me. All sorted out now! Thanks.

Seattle - the birth place of the great Jimi Hendrix.
Would love to visit there even though I'm not a fan of fishing, but if you want to catch and cook me some, I'd be glad to visit biggrin
Welcome to the forum fella and great to see your brother signed for us - long may he cause defenders headaches  smile

I see that the last member of the Experience Mitch Mitchell has been found dead in Portland.

"Seattle - the birth place of the great Jimi Hendrix."

I saw him play a couple of times and he was absolute crap. He was OK in the studio but he never cut it live in my opinion. Page, Clapton and Beck were all superior.

Many a 60's and 70's guitarist started with Weedon's play in ab hour - and some never got any better

Weedon should be sued under the Trades Descriptions Act. I got the book 35 years ago & still can't play!

Stick it on Ebay. You'll get at least 3 quid for it.

Although I agree that Clapton in concert was better, Hendrix and others learnt their trade from a Blues guitarist called Django Reinhardt. If you want to see a really great English guitar man, go see Robin Trower - awesome  smile

Django Reinhardt, Robert Johnson, Duane Allman. Dick Dale, all great musicians and influencial.

I was really surprised to hear Neil Young pay tribute to the contribution the Shadows made.

Yes Dave, you can keep my seat warm and make sure Pat behaves himself.
