Sadly not did one home game and was banned by the club and those commentating threatened with eviction have done a few away games here and there. covered away games at Histon? Newport and Hornchurch. I myself am glad that clubs are doing the radio and some embracing it.
quite amazing they allowed the away team to do it today lol for the biggest gate for years when the away fans may have brought more had no commentary been allowed.
I think i can safely say that Radio Wings will now be retired. Shame as all legal and music licences paid for and 15 times the bitrate of todays broadcast. Instead have been doing the radio for greyhound racing and ive travelled to nottingham and hull in the last few wees to do broadcasts at my own costs.
well done to the guy who done the dons radio today though, he wasnt overly biased. just a bit of a sh itty mic and low bitrate.

I was impressed, I thought it would sound like some bloke in his garden shed, but the quality of sound and his commentary was pretty good, like you say not overly biased, just in favour of good footy. What was the gate in the end?
1600 mate at the game today. Stick around as i may pop radio wings on one night and you can see the diff in quality. The mic i use alone cost silly money and the server can hold over a 1000 people at 15 times the quality of the Dons broadcast.
But ive done it legally paying £500 a year just for the legal rights to play any music i want. Plus getting a good quality server. And we can do it live from the ground, relayed by phone and take phone ins.
I had a dream... would have pi$$ed on any other teams efforts. Was good while it lasted.

I guess the club must have been concerned that a good radio feed might lower gates, but it sure as hell works for folks like me, the commute to a match is just a little far.
I'll be back on later today to check for the video, but I ahve a memorial service to go to in a hour for the wife of one of my work colleagues who died suddenly, one day before her 50th. Make ne a little nervous as I hit the big 50 early December (bit of an age diff between me and Loui).
