"shame about the 3 welling fans who went behind the goal with the city fans, abusive scum, said my mate was "a few chromosones short" (calling him retarded basically) calling me and my other mates "inbred pikey caravan dwellers", and generally looking for trouble, when the 3rd goal went in they walked off."

Posted on our forum, what have you Kent mugs got to say to this?

3-1 to the Champions Elect, told you we'd do you. 400 travelling clarets, 300 home fans PURRRRR FETIC "support".

Firstly how you can come on here having a go at us when you pretend to be someone else shows you a bit of a tit and a coward!

Also you can't have been at the game as there was no where near 400 away fans.

I was ACTUALLY at this game like most REAL city fans and what you speak about NEVER happened. There was no welling fans in the chelmsford end at all.
You talk about the third goal but tell me how was it scored and by whom???

go back to Heybridge and enjoy your relegation battle into obscurity

To All Welling fans,
Hard luck today once your man got sent off it effectivley killed the game.
You throughly deserved the lead you got as we was shocking in the first half and beginning of second but your goal seemed to give us a kick up the arse.

Good luck for rest of season and will some please ban this guy pretending to be Duane as he is definetly not one of us.

really i would make it up would i?

what happened is true, i have two of my friends to back me up, one of my mates has a bit of a speech problem, and over-reacts sometimes, and was effectively called a retard by 3 welling "fans",

other than that it was a good day, not a bad programme might i add, but no student admission price?!!? dissapointing.

The real Duane lives in Cornwall so unless he has won the lottery and bought himself a helicopter, the posting above is just from that prat swifted/ Peter City again.

I apologise that he has come on here and wasted your time, he does it on all messageboards of any opposition that you do not need to register to post for.

I certainly didn't see any problems behind our goal in the first half when I was in my usual place and hence amongst the Chelmsford fans.

if you are talking about the bloke with the zimmer - those blokes were shouting abuse at the chelmsford players and if i heard right he shouted abuse at THEM

and im sorry but if you dont change ends and start shouting at our fans you become fair game - sorry but thats the way it is - i wouldnt travel to an away game stand with the home fans and abuse them when they shout at my team

I very rarely. if ever change ends, and have never had any real problems. Occasionally when showing pleasure at Welling are doing well or managing to score there are the odd comments but nothing more and I'm far more likely to be exchanging chat about our respective players and how our teams are doing. Been crushed a few times by the overenthusiastic goal celebrations of both home and away fans but its all part and parcel of the match experience.

Peter Foster stood RIGHT in the middle of our lot staring at his mobile phone for the whole second half

I have to say I always find it odd - OK to one side or at the front BUT to stand behind the goal in oppositions colours at the back in the middle is a tad odd

I watched most of the second half from the same spot from which I watched the first half. And I noted that for a while during the half time break there wasn't a soul anywhere around. Then, as the second half started I became aware that I was being surrounded by a Group of ale-lubricated Welling Fans one of which expressed the sentiment that I should watch the second half from a diferent location.... So, I was there first, you see! So rather than "standing right in the middle of your lot" it was in truth "you lot who chose to stand around me...."

Interestimg that you felt the need to observe me, though, thereby feeling qualified to state that "I spent the whole of the second half staring into my mobile phone...." In fact I sent three short texts....

There were probably 100 Chelmsford fans in the ground, yet you could find nobody to stand with. You must be as popular with your own fans as you are with supporters of other teams.

You were lucky that we are a friendly lot. I can think of some clubs in this league where behaviour like that would result in you getting a clout.

Just putting the record straight, Tom.... I paid my £10 which gave me the right to stand wherever I wanted on the terraces.... Interesting that you sign yourself "LALAC," Tom. I recall you used that handle when you were a frequent visitor to our forum in the summer of 2003 when we lost our manager and most of our players to Welling. I recall you rubbed our noses in it and explained gleefully that your handle stood for "Let's All Laugh At Chelmsford...." That's why yesterday's win was so sweet, Tom; so sweet. It's been a long time....

There were more than 100. Take a look at the highlights and you can clearly see way more than that behind the goal plus there were a lot of em in the stands as well.

What a crazy thing, this Foster guy was slap bang in between the welling fans no probs with me but when they score he starts waving his arms about like the third member of same difference, you must know Foster that at this level you change ends as to not create a situation like what happened. Been going wings home and away for eight years and of course people are going to have a drink and if you stand there in what was a BIG match for both clubs and start cheering like YOU did it may get a reaction, not saying i agree with it but i was sure you were aware by the singing and general banter this was most of the home and away guys, who care very much for the club and dont wont people 5 feet away jumping around cheering when there team has just conceded, I am suprised you saw the goal because i must say every time i looked you were glued to that phone of yours... UP THE WINGS Alex ' goals for fun welling supporters fc ' Welling!!

Hmm! Surely not surprised at generating a reaction.

I recall going to a FA Cup replay at Chelmsford with Heybridge years back when one bloke spent most of the second half having a go at that well known Heybridge shrinking violet Roy McDonough and seemed genuinely astounded when he came over to take a throw and offered to discuss the criticism in a more secluded spot after the game (although not quite so eloquently!).

Don't hand it out unless you can take it, most certainly if you wish to stand\find yourself standing with the opposition support.

Totton moved to Essex this week, has it?

P.S. Bruno, tell your daughter who Fidel Castro is or I might have to solicit a more embellished citation from Kinky.

PS nothing wrong with looking at a phone all match if its a decent one. I trust its a HTC or a Nokia N95/96 Pierre? And you were watching Sky Sports live at the same time for goal flashes?

I'm flattered that you chose to observe me allegedly looking at my phone, Dizzie, rather than concentrating on the game. I glance at my phones once in a while to keep in touch with the scores in our league. And I do this when the ball is out of play. I also sent three texts.

I was there first and I paid my tenner. It's sad that there are "no go" areas at PVR. You could feel very safe standing anywhere at our place....

I am surprised, actually. I often watch the second half of games from "the other end" as it were and have never experienced anything like this before....

So you relate some story from "years back" and follow this up with the remark that I shouldn't "hand it out unless I can take it" Hand what out? I was just standing there watching the game and the only time I reacted was when I jumped up and down a bit when City equalised! Is that what you call "handing it out?"

To the best of my knowledge and belief, Garyh, the only club which segregates in our league is AFCW....

I placed my self amongst noone. When I stood behind the goal there wasn't another person within yards of me....

I made no attempt to "wind people up." It's not as though I was posing any kind of threat, being a 59 year old accountant in glasses.... The one individual who was bothered about me on Saturday was clearly embarrassing his mates, though. As he gave me the verbals I kept hearing whispers "Leave it Gary....Leave it Gary...." And I only decided to relocate when one of the Welling fans whispered in my shell-like that the bloke who was upset with me had a reputation for being "a head case" and that if City scored again - it was 1-1 at the time -  he could see this guy lashing out....

It's a pretty poor show when non-league fans from both clubs can't stand together on the terraces!
 
May i extend a cordial invitation to all Welling fans to stand with us City fans behind the Welling goal at MP in the return fixture.

Agree, quite how Peter "Swifted" Foster gets away with this, giving us genuine City fans a bad rep I have no idea. Just ignore "Swifted" Foster, everyone else does.

Personally I feel "uncomfortable" when opposite fans stand in in the wrong end. I like the banter fans give each other from the opposite end's of the ground and then you all have a laugh about it in the bar after the game. That's non league football as it should be.
