Well played Welling. Could/should have been 4-0 up. Then Johnson had a bad touch (but stick with him he will grow as a player..) Then Welling not given a penalty for Handball and then the ref gives Chelmsford a penalty for THAT when the mug went down like a sack of spuds??
Who the hell was that ref ? what a clown and should be in the pub leagues.
I hope Andy shows the players the video on Training night . If Welling play like that early against Weymouth and take their chances then Weymouth are in trouble.
Looks a VERY unlucky result but its our own fault if we took our chances and finish teams off then the ref or cheating opposition players (defence and attack) couldnt cheat us out of results.
Heads up lads, Well done to James and onwards to next week.

Johnson blast for 'clown' referee
Cardiff defender Roger Johnson was unhappy with the Watford draw Cardiff defender Roger Johnson is unhappy with the inexperience of the match official who oversaw the 2-2 draw at Watford on Boxing Day. Fourth official Ian Bentley replaced injured referee Grant Hegley after 17 minutes at Vicarage Road.
Watford equalised in the fifth minute of injury time, despite three minutes having been previously signalled.
"The ref's played six minutes of injury time apparently, he's an absolute clown but what can you do?" Johnson said.
"In the first half I had a little pop at him and he said, 'Oh give me a break I've never reffed a game before, I'm normally a fourth official'.
"How do you legislate for that? He's been given a chance but ruined it in my eyes.
"It's not a good draw, it's points lost - I'm absolutely distraught as those points were massive for us."

After watching the highlights..... a class move and goal from Welling starting with a great through ball, a good cross and a good header!! That quality of play and scoring would not look out of place in a higher league.
The goals conceded were not very special, the penalty did look questionable - and (in my humble opinion) their last goal was not bad, their winger turned the back well and when he "nutmegged" another defender, I think he probably unsighted the keeper - perhaps not such a clanger, just too quick and no clear sight of the ball.
It's still early enough in the season, loads more points out there for the taking........
Harsh ain't necessarily wrong Kev and I believe you have to lodge money when you appeal so unless its a stone cold certainty (and even then you won't necessarily be successful) an appeal is a waste of time, energy, and money. In any case I think the appeal has to be lodged by lunchtime on the next working day and all evidence submitted by the following lunchtime and as there has been no word from PVR looks like no appeal.
