basically if i remember right - we offered him a contract and he said he wanted to think about it so we gave him time
then he said he wanted a clause added so we gave it to him and he still didn't sign
next thing a 7 day approach came in from chelmsford for him so as Fordy said he was stalling on the contract hoping a better offer came in and i guess if it hadnt he would have signed for us
