Chairman moaning at fans, hes put club up for sale and saying that they should travel the 10 miles to sittingbourne and give the club gate money or it might delay the return to Maidscum.
Now i am not particularly in love with Maidstone for the way they tapped up John Bartley (i know... lol , let it go) but i wouldnt wish them to go bust again because of a ground.
It does seem to be a bit messy there though. Why is the chairman selling the club? I thought he was the messiah and taking them back to the Football League with a spanking new ground in Maidstone. Has he realised that their fans are and always have been a bandwaggon who come out when they are successful?

I wonder about this bandwaggon thing. If Welling were promoted and our crowds went up and we averaged over a 1000 - would we and others accuse the new people of jumping on the bandwaggon or would we welcome them with open arms.
i see they are only getting 250-300 at 'home' but took 500 to Dover. If they got a new ground in Maidstone they should easily look at doubling their home gates. Fans just don't like travelling to other grounds for home matches and comparing an away Christmas derby fixture against league leaders is a bit silly. When we played at Gravesend and Dartford for a few games we lost so many local supporters. Look at when Charlton and Wimbledon played at Palace.
