A flatering score for one of the worst teams I've seen this season.
We went 1 up from a superb goal from Ryan. Second half they get a very dubious penalty and Sinclair is sent off for it.
In my opinion the guy lent into him then fell to the ground. A yellow card would have been appropriate.
Then Louis gets fouled, ref does nothing and they break away and score. Last minute corner to us, goalie goes up and they clear and score with the goalie on the half way line.
Their only form of attack was the long ball up the middle. Boring, boring, boring and they beat us 3-1.
I don't remember being this angry at a match for ages. I just hate losing to boring teams like Bishops.
Thats probably the biggest load of bollocks ive seen on a football forum for some time, to start of with, your goal wasnt 'Superb', it was just bad defending and a easy finish, we could have been at least 3-1 up at half time, having a chance cleared of the line, and a couple of good saves from your keeper kept you in it at the time. Second half you were 2nd best and thats why we scored 3 goals, a definate penalty but a red card slighty harsh, we deserved the win. How the hell are you in the play off positions, you were absolutly ****e today
Amateurs is a bit harsh but we didn't play well. Two creative players suspended today and a loan forward recalled to Brentford but no excuses. You battled hard and got the breaks. Could easily have been a draw even with ten men!
Get the f*ck off our forum! Loui is an outstanding young player and seems like a genuine sort of bloke. Always plays with a smile on his face. And as for us being 5th, we've played some outstanding attacking football and have a decent defensive record. I've had no real opinion on Bishops Stortford but seeing the crap you lot have brought to this forum I hope you get relegated an stay down. On your bike!
but when you run out of money he'll be off. You had one shot on target in the first half and scored. Sorry but your position flatters you and I guarantee you wont be in a play off place come season end.
Bluelaz, we may or not be in the play offs this season, but unlike you, we will not be in the relegation battle. Blue Polish Horn - Your command of the English language is laughable - stick your horn where the sun doesn't shine and enjoy your football in the lower league. You had the same number of supporters today as you have points. Under Martin Hayes you had a good team, capable of playing decent football. Today showed that times have changed and you were lucky.
Why Oh why do we put on such abject perfrormances against the poorest sides in the League? We actually managed to make Stortford look a half decent side.
Granted we were fielding a weakened side today but our defending was woeful at times and on field recriminations (not for the first time) only serve to give more confidence to our opponents.
As for the Stortford fans they were without doubt the worst to have graced PVR this season. Maybe I'm out of touch but urging their players to 'take him out' and 'break his legs', and chanting w****r whenever Faz touched the ball have no place on the terraces. I can understand their frustration that after having done so well for them last season they are unhappy that he is playing for another Connie South side and expected there to be some sort of expression of their dissatisfaction/disappointment but for it to last all game was a sad indictment on them.

Here is my penny worth: Welling were awful today and that is being kind. Even when winning we looked crap, Bishops were not much better and without being disrepectful to them they were properly playing at their full potential.
The result was right, although an on song Welling would have gobbled Bishops up for breakfast. However every team has a few iffy games now and then and we certainly had that today, although my biggest worry is this may just be the start of a poor run of results.
Just seen the video highlights......... The red card. Penalty, yes. But with the forward being where he was and Prohtheroe being level how on earth is that a sending off. Yellow card tops. Well done ref, you spoilt the game. Their 2nd goal was well taken but from what i've seen that result is very flattering for Bishops. Lets just hope the boys pick themselves up for a must win game against Team Bath. See you tuesday!
I notice someone was offended by the language of Stortford fans today. I notice also that they forgot to mention the language taken by BSFC fans from both the Welling keeper or the defender picking the ball up following the final goal. Bad language is part and parcel of attending football and right or wrong this surely was no shock to you today. I used a rather nasty word today towards your keeper as he clearly faked injury and I apologise to anyone concerned. To conclude, when your players learn how to conduct themselves verbally, perhaps you can comment on the paying supporters. I really did not want to re start a slanging match between supportes but in response to the post claiming we have as many away fans as points, you are at least not able to master basic maths or choose not to remember how many you took to our place. To 99% of Welling fans good luck for the rest of the season, to those bitter few who lost a football match today (it's not life or death), I hope you can get your sence of reason and reality back soon.

At least we play good football that is play-off standards most of the time you prat. what does your crap team do? play sh*t every week
Ladderman, it wasn't the language being used which offended me, hell I've been known to use it myself. The point I was making was that I expected Faz to be booed when he came out but to hound him all game long presumably to put him off his game and to be urging your players to take him out all game is in my book OTT.
Credit to Faz cos if it did get to him he didn't let it show.
Not making excuses for Sonny but he was within full hearing of your treatment of a team mate all game and didn't manage to hold it back for the final minute or so.
I'm not a sore loser, as I said we made you look good yesterday and deserved to get beaten.
Grumpy Old Man? Perhaps.

Why on earth, did Sinclair need to 'push' the forward and concede a penatly and get sent off? He could have let him run on and take a shot. A goal would be the likely outcome but you never know! However l would be more confident drawing 1-1 and still have 11 players on the field than the eventual outcome of the penatly award!
Welling will have simply to 'kill' teams off at home when they're either 1-0 or 2-0. I lost count of the many times, I seen the away teams claw themselves back into the game when Welling should have made it safe. It has been since the end of August the last time we won by 3 clear goals and providing the top of the table will still be tight as it is now, goal difference may be a factor in who will be in the play-offs at the end of the season!
So Welling, when you go one or two up in games please don't sit back but go for more goals!
Spot on Bruno. If they want to give it out for 93 minutes, they cannot complain if they get some back out of frustration at the end.
Loui left when the budget was cut and players had to be released. I'm sure their fickle band of tuneless tooters did nothing to make him doubt his part in the decision.
I'm not moaning about your keeper. I think it's funny that I would up enough to tell me to F off. Did they ever find the sniper who shot him ? it was comical the way he collapsed in a heap.
As for Faz, I've heard far far worse. He didn't help his cause with an apalling tackle when we played Bromley in the Setanta. He got a lot less stick before that. But he'll survive, and assuming he doesn't change clubs, he doesn't have to listen to us for at least seven months.

'As for Faz you've heard far worse'? Oh thats perfectly fine then, abuse and swear at him all you like. What a pathetic way of justifying the abuse he got. And assuming he doesn't change clubs, the way your shabby lot are playing with a bit of luck he won't have to put up with such tosh for at least another year.
The only reason B Stortford won was because we had 10 men. The table doesn't lie. They are at the bottom for a reason. Welling weren't great today and Sinclair made a mistake yet again for the penalty. He is a very good player but like the old days with Lew Watts he is prone to making errors.
Can someone answer why their number 6 decided to stick 2 fingers up to the Welling fans?
