Following the results at the weekend we are now outside the play off places.
Hampton's tails will be up following their results and its important that we keep up with the pace. In the past we have tended to tail off at the end of the season when in similar positions, its important we dont tail off this early.
That sort of negativity (dressed up as realism) is just the sort of spirit that would have seen Britain surrender to the Nazis after Dunkirk. I would see 0-3 as a "very good" result tonight but I'd be happy with either 0-1 or maybe 1-2. A draw is no use to us.
Wind your neck in. That's not negativity - it is called realism.
I will be there tonight willing the lads on to three points. The fact remains we are playing one of the form teams in the league who were in the play offs last year and look like being again this year..........
I repeat a draw would be a very creditable result (and I suspect Messrs Ford and Dack might think the same) On paper it is one of our toughest games, and a draw would be far from a disaster, but I hope we can take all three points.
They are there for the taking. We are nicely rested, they played Saturday. Our players can give it there all knowing that they have yet another Saturday off this weekend. We will win if we want to badly enough.
Come on baker.... earn those wages sunshine, THIS is where you repay Welling in games like this, not vs the team in 21st place. This is where the team stands up and says we WILL be in the play offs by getting in their faces and WINNING. IF IF IF one of my dogs wins at Crayford this arvo, JgFc will be there to _unt off the judas
