Dont know what Andy and Jimmy said in the dressing room at half time but thought it was a different team second half. Scott Parker may have been there, remember Harry is his brother in law. Great debut for Harry fitted in well. Well done all round
How funny. I stood there for twenty minutes, thinking I know that bloke. Not sure from where. Finally I thought, it's Scott Parker. Came in and looked him up on the internet to see if he had lots of sons. Three. He was there with four boys and a lady up and the park end. Then I read the thread!
Completely diffrent team second half, we looked like a unit as opposed to the first 45.
Whatever was said at half time seems to have worked, Charlie was consisitent through out the game but Fordy's right he has played a lot of football, maybe Loui is in the same situation? as he seems off the boil to when he came here. The unsung hero of this and many other games is Graham Andrew. Makes it simple and gets on with it.
The problem I have and many others is where players are on a game by game basis, expecting injuries suspensions etc I dont think we have played a consistent line up with players on the bench in a competetive position for a while
Good performance all round. Hard to pick a man of the match but I would have to give it to Jack Parkinson. New guy Harry Arter fitted in well and looked quality.
Two of the officials were useless as usual. The lino at the far side wasn't bad. Towards the end, the ref was asked how long to play and replied 5 minutes. Why wasn't this then put up on the board?
Hilarious antics after the final whistle with their manager or assistant swearing at their fans. They had their ears pressed up against the dressing room door listening to what was being shouted at their players. Swearing guy comes running off the pitch goes mad and tells them all to f**k off. A woman takes offence and rightly points out that children are present then hypocritically in front of the kids tells everyone that shed been told to f**k off and repeats the F word a dozen or so times in front of them. Fans were not at all happy with swearing man.
