The reason why Ramsgate had so many "fans" last night was because they had a local lad playing for them called Aaron Firth. He came on as sub at the end, it was his birthday so all his mates (must have been 30 of them) came and bumped the crowd up a bit. I would say there were 10 "hardcore" Ramsgate fans there last night
That would explain it. They didn't seem to know the "non league rules" i.e. changing ends. They were also laughing at mistakes by Ramsgate players. However it made for a good following for a mid- week game especially considering there were so few Wings supporters there.
