Never, ever, ever drive through London unless it's absolutely necessary.

The M25/A2 option is the best bet.

There is street parking but if you can't find a place then probably your best bet is to use the nearest car park. The traffic wardens round here were trained by Hienrick Himmler.

For the car park, go past the ground (on your left) then go about half a mile and turn right at the lights. Then take first right into Springfield Road and there's a car park at the end before the road turns. It's in Nag's Head Lane if you want to look it up on Multimap or Flash Earth. It's not as far as it sounds but it's in a one-way street so you have to go round the block.

It's about £1, safe to leave your car and usually three quarters empty.
