Fair play to Loui this season, he came having played for a few clubs and even though he had a spell in the wilderness he never moaned or bogged off like some players do and hes got his nut down for the team.
One of the "keeps" for next season. Well done Loui, now get a hatrick against Newport.

Can't think you've seen him too often slim. I think overall he has been disapointing until recently. He lost his place in the side, lost some weight and has looked much better. JGFC is right he has got on with it and when he got another chance in the side he was ready and responded well. Earned himself the chance for next season I would suggest
Agree with Chelwing that he hasn't played aswell as maybe we were expecting, until recently. However, he wasn't playing in his best position until recently. Since he has been playing just behind Sheringham he has looked fanatstic. Would love to keep him with us next year and play him in a similar role.
I am sure that "Slim" must have seen Loui play more times than "JGFC" this season though. Is it true that you, JGFC, have only seen Loui play for 15 minutes (Hampton away - came on in the 75th minute). I do find it incredible how someone can have so many views on the on field performances without going to any of the games (except AFC Wimbledon and Hampton away I am led to believe).
Loui must be kept, no question about it. When he first signed, he was great. He seemed to be a direct replacement for the departing Ryan Martin and it turned out to be another great piece of business by Mr Ford. And then, yes, he had a spell where he was not so effective. Maybe because this had a lot to do with getting used in different positions after Baker left. He got dropped, Arter came in and did a top notch job, and this can only have spurred Loui on to regain his place. And when he did come back, that extra dimension and unpredictability came back to the side. Does anyone have his assists record at hand? I'm sure it would be impressive.
Oh, Chelwing, you're right, Slim hasn't seen been as often as he should have this season, he has a very high maintainence girlfriend! (sorry son, haha!)

Saw him just after we signed him, then probably once or twice when he was a sub, then a couple of times after he got back in. I'll give you he has improved since he was dropped and got fitter, but even before that, I still think he was very good. The main improvement is his workrate (that comes with the fitness), but still, we keep hold of him, think he could be an extremely useful player next season.
