Gravesfleet have announced a budget of £5000 a week over 43 weeks. Daish has had a right pop in the press and says it is unsustainable at that level.  That budget includes National Insurance.

Good piece in Kent Online.

What happened to the My Football Club raising millions thing? Looks like they will go Part Time lose most of their players, sign Kids and Lower League players and get their bum spanked next season.

Whilst Andy keeps us improving and back to the number 1 non league club in Kent.

I wonder if Andrew will be tapping a few up?  Its happened to us in the past ;)

Poor old fleet.

Their budget was £10K for 52 weeks last season.

I doubt we'll pick up any of their players as the ones that we'd like will probably stay with them, the more expensive ones that get released will go to stay in the Conference or go to a big spending club like DOver.

Dover cant sign everyone, theyve signed most of last seasons players.
Also you say they will stay at Gravesend?
On half the money? with the same national travelling.
OR sign for Welling on half the money with less travelling.
I dont think its as clear cut as you see it as. Fleet have only signed 5 players from last season the rest became free agents. I think Andy will fancy picking up on or two even with his budget. The thing in our favour is we are attracting good players, just missed the play offs and are at least trying to be ambitious allbeit at prudent financial levels.

Dont write off Andy signing 2 or 3 very decent players for next season.

The cheaper players we could afford will stay at Ebbsfleet on their current wages.

The ones they can't afford are probably the better ones that wouldn't be interested in coming to us.

I'm not sure why they have got money problems?

They had 20,000 subscribers paying £35. That's £700k - do they get taxed on that or are 'donations' like this tax free?

I know less than 10k have subscribed now so it will be interesting to see developments. They are still getting over a third of a million though. Too many staff, too much on wages - who knows? I can see this whole thing going the same way as the name change. A total balls up.

That whole idea was doomed from the start. As soon as you realise it's not your club, would you still pay £35 to be in charge?

That's the major flaw there.
