There are so many reasons I love Non League Football, but one thing that stinks at this level is the amount of corruption and ars licking that goes on. I mean is Kings Lynn ground really worse than that of Hampton? If your face dont fit then you are buggered. The fact that Gloucester are having to play in the Northern league is a travesty, no disrespect to Worcester but what a farce, I actually believe many team's will have to drive past Gloucester to play Worcester. It's not the clubs that make non league football amateurish, far from it, it is the suit wearing old codgers that make non league football amateurish.
I actually think the Worcester thing is reasonable. They will have signed staff on the basis that they would be travelling south every other week - so South based staff would have agreed to sign. If they got put straight back in the North then it would create problems for them. If you live in London you won't a mid week game in North Yorkshire.
