Obviously everyone looks out for number one, and if there is a player out there you know to be good, out of contract, and you can afford him, then you're going to try and get him on board.
However, are there no morals/ethics in the world anymore. I bet Fordy is fuming about Sinclair. Arter, fair enough, but Sinclair has been dragging this out and d**king us around for ages, good riddance. Bad attitude gets you nowhere.
As i posted .... all that about travel and crap... PURE RUBBISH as i said at the time. Dack has crapped on us by going to Woking and then crapped on us by poaching one player and possibly a second.
He will go down in history as one of the biggest ****s in the clubs history.
I hope Andy says what he feels in the press and that we swiftly bring in a quality center half.
There will be a few tackles flying about this year. Think we need a psyco in midfield, over to you Andy go get a hardman.

Jimmy Dack, thanks for mugging us off mate starting an academy you have now left with no one to take it on us far as we are all aware and taking sincs. Travel my arse Dack you chased the buck and F****d us like a duck, agree with Kevins second paragraph. I would not be surprised if Dack had tried to get the likes of parkinson via facebook, i am urging everyone to not try and defend this as if you look at every thing that has gone we have been well and truly mucked about and raped we could even call in crimewatch and get on there new morning show!!
Money talks as usual! Wokings budget is obviously a lot more than Fordy`s. What pisses me off is Sinclair must have seen we were building a decent team last year but he couldn`t wait to jump ship for a few extra quid. No spine No loyalty. He got paid at welling for two seasons but only really played for one. Sod off loser
Can't wait til we play the posh ****s now, hope we do them home and away next season and Sincs + Dack get some deserved stick for ****ing us around and showing zero loyalty.
Sinclair is at his level. No loss. Poor Character, no loyalty and selfish. Just give him some serious stick next year cos he is like a timebomb on the pitch and will lose his head easily. He will be easy to ruin on the pitch nice early booking or red card etc etc.
Hes in our pocket already.
Harry fair enough, no need to give him stick he did well with us.

I am really disapointed to lose these two players. I did rate Sinclair and I don't think he is a hot head and will lose it next year.
But lets get real - if Andy left and we brought in a new guy - he may well want to bring in people he knows if they can do a job for him. We wouldn't complain. When I moved job a few years ago I tried to get some of my old staff to come with me. I knew they were good. That's the benefit when you appoint a new person - they come with knowlwdge and contacts. I can't blame Dack who knew players wanted a club, were out of contract and looked to sign them. He would be failing in his job if he didn't bring this knowledge to the attention of his bosses.
Tough on us and very disapointing, but lets live in the real world.
I hate losing Sinclair to Woking, hate seeing Arter at Woking, didn't particularly like Dack going to Woking and hate the way Sinclair has held out for an offer..
BUT
can we really expect Dack to ignore good players he's seen over the past year? He's going to do a job for Woking regardless of the fact it will p**s most of us off.
I'm with Chelwing and GaryH. It's always gonna happen. Disappointed to see Sincs go, I thought he was a very decent player and good team member.
Apparently Arter in the Charlton reserves was fairly poor, and apparently lost his rag quite a bit.....I think we should get on his back when we see our Woking friends next season.
It's like going and holding the ball up by the corner flag. If your team is winning it is brillant but if your the opposing team and your losing you feel robbed and like your being cheated out of the game.
Well Woking have the ball in the corner flag. Dack and Sinclair wont receive a fan fare when they come back to PVR.
Arter - good luck to him. Dack knows of him and is hardly going to ignore the fact he is available. He was never contracted to us and is free to do as he pleases.
However, Sinclair is another story, he was offered a contract ages ago and has, for whatever reason, but I suspect hoping to get more money elsewhere, dragged out making a decision for ages, and we've lost out as a result. In addition, Im sure he has heard us sing of our hate for Woking many times, so to go there as well is a little strange. But there you go, it happens.
Moving on .....
Rob Gilman, Bromley's player of the year last season, having been Bishop Stortford's player of the year the season before. Fast, strong centre half. Was with Luton for 3 years at YTS when they were still in the Championship. Doesnt demand a massive payslip. Lives in Sidcup. Ford alert !!!!!!
And how many players from previous clubs did he bring to PVR when he joined Fordy?
HOW ABOUT NONE?
So its not as if thats the way he operates and we benefitted by it.
ITS NOT ALRIGHT or ACCEPTABLE and if you add that to the p1ssing off to woking in the first place, walking out when he was supposed to be starting the Welling Academy etc etc how can you give the .... any benefit of the doubt or leniancy.
Hes continually shat over us and really done a job on us.
Sinclair has zero character and is going nowhere as a player.

Serious some people on here are crazy we have been mugged well and truly as said previous look at all Jimmy Dack has done to mug us off he has gone about setting up an academy to produce the next generation of players then left that in the lurch - what if he had started that last season from what i have seen of the guy he would have emailed them on twitter and gone look lads i am a taxi driver i will pick you up from bluewater just give me petrol money and we call it quits Woking have more to offer we were conference premier last year - i also am going to ring sincs and say look mate i know that you been stalling on that contract kepping loyal fans on edge and those that have supported you home and away but we will give you a score more and you can bang in corals and have a go on the roulette.
Welling were building a good team and the thing that pisses me off is that SINCLAIR would not have been approached by woking if Dack had not gone there, so thats what gets me we all liked Dack but he has done us over by taking one of are best players away and as the Surrey herald has now confirmed it was all down to one man - NUFF SAID!
According to Woking site they have added Tony Sinclair and Harry Arter to their ranks for the coming season...........
As someone thats knows:
The reason that Sincs didnt sign for Welling United straight away was because on his contract being up he wanted to look at the possibilitys of playing Full time football and playing in other leagues. This was offered to him by Woking which as far as i know he made Fordy fully aware of.
Sincs was originally offered a poor deal at welling despite being the longest serving player & being told he was 'the most valued defender & one of the most valued players on the team' Trust me his offer for signing on was an insult to that statement. But Sincs was also offered contracts at other clubs in the league for more money than he will be earning at both Woking or would have been earning at Welling and he also turned those contracts down favouring full time football over any amount of money offered.
So Sincs was not dragging his heels nor messing Fordy about, he was simply excercising he's right to view all offers on the table and doing what was best for him as a player before making any decisions......
I ask who would be jumping to sign on the dotted line at the prospect of a poor contract that does not show value for the player without even looking at how you could progress both in your career and your financial situation first..... it would make no sense.
Who would stay put at there jobs when a promotion with a bigger office & more training could be just around the corner! NO ONE!
I know that Sincs has read all of the comments on this forum and is dissapointed in how fickle some fans have been even though he has given his all to the club for the past 2 years.
I would say that maybe you should all have a little more respect for players and even try to be pleased for them that they are trying to progress in there careers and become better players.
i dont think its the fact that tony has gone that has got so many peoples backs up, good player, i wish him well etc. Seems to be the fact that it looks like Dack has poached him like an egg! Whatever he has been offered by welling is none of our business, we all know there are budget cuts across the board.
What would clear it up for me would be the answer to this question...
Was sincs offered terms by woking before Dack was in tenure?
I dont disagree that a player should want to better himself and move upwards. Sincs has gone sideways but if he wants full time football and gets it at Woking then good luck to him.
The above question is an interesting one.
As a supporter the bit that sticks in my throat is that the season before last Sincs was practically out all season through injury and I guess that we paid him all that time? I know that a number of supporters were always asking when he was coming back and how things were going, me included.
So in truth we havent had two seasons out of him.But I dont expect any loyalty at this level and I dont expect he will be welcomed back with open arms for the Woking game either
I suppose it is hard for us loyal fans to like today's type of footballer (some will say disloyal).
Especially us
We're Welling United - our club was established with the likes of Ransom, Burgess, White etc who played thousands of games for us (yes thousands). Look at Wayne Brown who came through the ranks and played his heart out for us. We could name plenty on here like him.
We've been the underdogs for many years and have not had much success in recent years. Loyalty is something we can at least hope for from the players.
I was there for the Derek Brown match recently. To be honest I didn't actually fancy the game but I remember what he did for us and wanted to return the gratitude. I worry I wont be going to too many games like that in the future.
Sinclair leaving is bad news - but to a fellow rival, a rival that we can't stand. My feeling towards Woking will be echoed by many who remembers past games with them.
I understand someone wanting full-time football, I understand someone wanting to earn more money - but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

I'm sure what Sinclair was offered was meant as an insult. This is Welling United we're talking about here, not a team thats flush with money. The club are only offering what they can afford.
