I think Hockton lives quite close to us but has a reputation for chasing the cash.......If that is still the case then he will go to the highest bidder.
hes scored 30 in the kent league surely he would get 15 minimum in our league? Also the clubs get on well so we should have an advantage there.
Hopefully Andy will sign a proven goalscorer in the next 10 days, IF he does then hopefully the few who are on a downer despite him signing 3 recognised players will chill a bit.

i agree on not getting worried - and with idiots like sinclair messing us around and the reduced budget Ford has to be careful on who he does sign so a slow steady stream of signings is fine by me

Cssius is contract and will demand a fee,a few grand i reckon and Welling have shown an interest.......the fee being the problem
well we will get some money from Charlie, also if Fordy really rates him then why not come out and ask the fans for donations, if he really fancied him and believed he will get goals, then I would dip in my pocket and give what I could.
See this is the thing isnt it. We will get a fee for Son of Edward, go for Cassius match his wages at erith about £6 and pay the fee they want cant be more than a grand its pub league after all. Plus tie him up on a 2 year deal on cheap money so we benefit if he does well. And he cant just bog off to any team with a few quid.
Does he want to play with the big boys or in front of 8 fans on **** pitches.
