They were paying about 7k werent they when this first started. Some teams are getting 25k a year and others getting almost nothing. I wonder what we are getting now and should we be asking for more or agressively seeking a better sponsorship?

Didn't Welling Building Services sponsor us for 30k years ago, making us the best sponsored team outside of the footbal league?

Try to keep up at the back of the class Chelwing,as i believe Coomes have dropped out and we are looking for a new sponser,

Get a website up.. a raffle for the shirt sponsorship next season

£100 a ticket, all buyers get an advert in the programme albeit a small one on the shirt sponsors raffle page.

The club will have a year to sell 75 or more

bringing in 7.5k and could attract sponsors to the club to get involved in other things.

If there isnt the commercial dept to aggressively seek a sponsor a raffle promoted by the club and the website and the local papers could exceeed what coomes pay.

I believe sponsorship was up for grabs this year. That is not to say Coomes won't be the sponsor but it is not a forgone conclusion.

I texted Monkey earlier today and he wasn't sure if it had finished. Like all businesses, mine included we have to monitor our spending and tough decisions have to be made. By doing so we can keep people employed in these uncertain times.
