I think it was always inevitable that the crowd would be lower seeing as Charlton are in a lower league. However Charlton launch there new kit against us so im sure that will draw a few I would be happy with 2,500.

Shame about the sponsorship, but sounds like it's come to an end as planned so hopefully talks are in place with potential new sponsors. Would be interested to know how much sponsorship is - always worth mentioning to people as contacts have contacts and all that.
When I picked my tickets up last week Barrie thought the impact of Charlton being in the lower leagues was the main impact. I think the hardcore Charlton fans are the bulk of who come to see us, and assuming the weather's better than last year I think we'll get a decent turnout.
Excuse the pun, but it's a bit of an own goal for the club to not take advantage of the Danson festival. Maybe a deal could have been done with Charlton for some sort of 'collaboration'. It would be nothing but benefitial and generate interest. We've even got a bit of silverware to show off!
