Andrews took the armband for most of the second half.
Also, being captain - only Fordy and the players know who is right. It has to be someone who motivates on the training pitch and behind the scenes as well.
Speaking of Graeme Andrews, I was just watching Sky Sports News and couldn't help noticing how he and Blackburn's Keith Andrews look alike! They aint brothers are they?
I would agree with Mr Sidcup Graham. That's not to say no to Graham Andrews or Jack Parkinson. Personally I would look at someone who has a mature attitude and who can also present himself and the club in the right manner when Sky TV or BBC are interviewing him.
He can get his message across, he is a role model, hes calm and he has achieved things. He can probably keep a few of the youngsters calm. If you give it to a youngster who hasnt been there or done it it could become too much.
Clarkey is a possible if hes fit.

As per usual you make a fair point, not that I agree as I feel goal-keepers have limited influence during the match whilst they're caged in their penalty area.
