I wonder whether there is anything we supporters can do to help make up the shortfall in Andy's budget as mentioned in today's Kentonline story? I, like many others, am going to sign up for sponsor a goal again but what else can we do in these financially depressed times?
There are probably a range of fund-raising measures in the pipeline, but would it be possible to have a "buy/or pay a new player fund" with a staightforward collection bucket at, or just beyond, the turnstiles at each home game? People can then put in what they can afford - not a big deal, I know, but every little would help. Any news on a new shirt sponsor?

well if you were turned down to pay a salary for a year then there isnt really much anyone can do - im happy to donate but if money is refused then i might as well just keep it in my pocket
To be fair to the club, there was a little more to it than just turning down the money. It came down to contract, appearances, perfomances, ownership etc, etc. It opened up "unhealthy" possibilites and opportnities. This was before the Carlos Tevez affair even.
