Although If I am honest I did think we were going to be getting someone who had played Conference Premier Football last season, however Jeff's pedigree is very good and it is what all of us have been crying out for an old head in the middle, so well done Fordy. Pleased Jake Hobbs has been given a chance this lad can score and King looked steady at the back, would love to see the boy Hughes given another chance as I thought he looked very impressive on Tuesday.
Yeah I see this as a good signing for the now. We needed a tiger in the middle Minton is that, we needed a captain Minton is that. Parky and RJ needed a bit of experince around them he will provide that. However I would be very surprised if he is here next season and I feel that he is a signing who is the right player at the right time.
The guy is proven class , would you rather have signed a 17 year old released by palace? Or a proven experienced player who will get us pumped up and lead by example?

Sorry to dis-appoint but Minton,good as he once was,is now past it.The majority were suprised that he didnt go in the first cull at the end of the season.

I can't see how Cracknell, Johnson, Minton and Parkinson can all play in midfield together.
