I notice that both the Football League and The Premier League are remembering Sir Bobby Robson with a one minutes applause at the start of there respective campaigns would be nice if we too did this on Saturday. Can this be arranged?

You idiot, what a silly reply, this man was a football legend and a gentleman and there isnt too many of them about in today's game. We should be celebrating his life

It's possible that people like Billy may be of a young age where by they are not aware of what Bobby Robson did for this country's football. It's those of us who went through his England and club football managerialship that will see his passing as the loss that it is. I for one will be very disappointed if there is no rememberance shown.

Billy must have a computer he can use at his play school - If he's not aware of such a TOP MAN

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF HE WAS REMEMBERED AT ALL WEEK END FOOTBALL MATCHES - EVEN AT THE LOWER "PUB" LEVEL FOOTBALL IE DARTFORD AND DISTRICT ETC : IF THERE HAVE COMMENCED THEIR FRIENDLY'S

I DID SEE SOME WHERE, SO FAR £ 1.6MILLION HAS BEEN DONATED FOR THE CHARITY IN HIS NAME

I was trying to find some ground whereby Billy didn't get verbally abused. A little trick I learnt at man-management school.

...............  but the common ground has now been taken over by a building company, who just happen to drop the Local Council a VERY LARGE envelope just to build squat homes for illegals.  Yes folks, that's why you pay your council tax  smile

As for your man management skills Trig, I'd say that you were top class  - OK, so it might have been when the quill was first used, but hey, who am I to argue with Queen Victorias mentor? biggrin

A friend of mine had alreay approached Barrie before the Woking game in memeory of a season ticket holder of over twenty years who passed away a month or so ago. Obviously the club are very busy before a game and its difficult as they may get many requests like this one.

Perhaps we could remember Sir Bobby in line with the Premier and other leagues when it is done in a couple of weeks time?

My dearest 'Cynical' when ground has been taken over by a large building the art is to find a different place that can be classed as common. The challenge is to look hard enough.
As regard to being Her Majasty's mentor I try to keep this quiet due to client confidentiality. However, I was intrumental in getting her to learn English rather than being taught German (not many people know this). This was the first piece of advice I gave the young Princess and she always agreed that she would never have had been the Queen that she was without it.

I actually met Sir Bobby and agree that he was a gentleman (far more so than those who are limited to personal abuse) and was saddened by his untimely passing away.

Although just saying why may have been crass, I believe all this minute silence business should be kept to important figures relevant to the clubs involved.
