Just seen your one fan post on cardsweb. Little bit jealous that Dack chose to move to a better club are we? So if you were working as a shelf stacker in tesco you would turn down a high paying job in the city? Lets face it your a small club in a **** part of the country with no ambition. Im sure Sinclair will prefer playing in front of 1,500 than 400. I'm afraid you are just going to have to know your place and face that coaching staff and players will always want to further their careers with bigger and better clubs.
Woking people have this way about them cos deep down they want to be Guildford.
Now...Now stop this all of you !...Our gound better than yours, We get 1, 500, you get 400...true, but remember there is always a better ground than yours/ours. with larger crowds....and so on and so !!!..its all quite boring,, and why the hell would anyone want to go on to other teams forums and slag them off ?

This from a club that spent more years in the lower reaches of the Isthmian League than we have been in existence. Know your history....
lol love the whole "big club" rubbish - as kevin says you are in the same league after being relegated and there is no guarentee you will go back up

Well it's true, isn't it? Regardless of what league we are in, we get bigger crowds, are a full time club with more history and tradition than you and players and coaches at this level will always be interested in coming to us.
I don think it is fair to criticise Welling for being a small club - we are all small clubs really and clubs get the support they get - you cannot force people through the gate.
I really enjoyed my day out to Welling - friendly people - an open door policy at the club bar and a fantastic burger van ( great value to ).
The only downer was the group of 20 Woking & Welling fans who had drunk too much in the sun and wanted to fight at the end of the game - there were a couple of mentally handicapped kids who were terrified and in floods of tears - the ´men' involved were old enough to know better.
To end on positive note - my son went in the club shop to get a Welling badge (he collects them from every ground we visit) The guy in the shop said sorry we don have any in stock but don worry I will bring some to Kingfield for you at our next game - Now thats what I call service!!
This is all a little boring. Leagues aren't won with attendances, and history. Secondly, you aren't 'historically' the biggest team in this league if you do want to go down that childish root, that would be Newport - an ex league club who spent almost as long in the football league than you did in Isthmian.
Anyway I thought your club didnt care about us and didn't consider us rivals, so why bother wasting your time on here if we are so insignificant?
The BIG crowd syndrome didnt work for Newcastle last year
Remember watching (the original) Wimbledon play at home (Then Selhurst park) against Portsmouth - Wimbledon had 1000 whilst portsmouths had 9000. It was really strange BUT the portsmouth crowd singing was brilliant. The Wimbledon fans would flap the seats up and down to make as much noise as possible
