Live match updates from the Welling United v East Thurrock game on Saturday. Team line-ups, goals and other major incidents will appear instantly, with no need to refresh, all on our Live Score page. Follow the game either on your PC or Mobile. New striker Adrian Stone should be in the squad for the game.

Live Score PC and Live Score Mobile.

Thanks to Sidcup Graham for providing the updates again this week.

As ever, so longer as the technology doesn't fall over smile Touch wood.

Thanks,

James

Glad we're through but we made hard work of it.

Pleased with the monies as well, that will help. Crowd was poor today althought Charlton were at home, the dwindling nos at last weeks game dont bode well, next weeks attendance will be the test as to whether people really feel whether we are going to be serious this year.

We need to hold the run together, BS are going well and with some players back, (good to see Graeme Andrews and Kingy making a good defenceive pairing) next week will be a test for players and supporters.

Important we get behind the boys

I work most saturdays so I'm struggling to make weekend games now, so that's my excuse for not turning up. Sorry!

One thing that really bothers me though... I get the train home from work on a saturday not long after games finish, and I can't help but think that if some of the many people who get off the train at Eltham, Falconwood, Welling, Bexleyheath, Barnehurst and Dartford wearing Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs (and even Liverpool for Christ's sake!) shirts bothered to go and watch their local team then we might be a whole lot wealthier. And we'd have a much better atmosphere at PVR.

I thought the crowd was about par really. Considering no season tickets and Charlton at home 400 wasn't bad. I think we need to be realistic non-league isn't for everyone. I was talking to an Altrincham supporter on the way home and they try everything to get their crowds up - offering cheap admission to Man U and Man City supporters but its doesn't work for them. I think you need to focus on getting youngsters in who may stick with it. That or a good cup run that may stir a bit of interest. Whta surprises me is that you get good crowds for Christmas/New Year games and games like AFC but even if we play really well they don't seem to come back. No pleasing some people I guess.

Dartford seem to get good crowds so maybe it's a nice shiny new stadium that would make people want to go to see non league football, which is quite sad.
If that's the criteria we'll never get a good home crowd!!

Unfortunately, some season ticket holders for some reason don't come when they have to pay. It's a shame as it's only a tenner to get in.

Have Dartford got a bigger catchment area and less teams about

Here we have VCD / E&B / ERITH T / THAMESMEAD POSSIBLE CRAY (SIDCUP AREA) yes appreciate SE LONDON is more dense populated than Dartford geographical area
