Who should start in central defence?

For me I think Steve King is looking very solid.
Yabo Mambo has started to gell well with the team.
Great to see Mr Andrews back, played well today.

A tough decision in deed.

If all else equal then got to go with the two "Welling" players and not the loanee ... nice problem to have though.

we look a lot more solid with andrews in the defence, first clean sheet in 6! settled team now, we will win more than we lose. also credit to east thurrock who,i think, looked good value for a draw!

Poor performance, good result. I don't pick out individuals for critisism, however let's just say I don't think throughout the game any of our players once beat one of their defenders. Our pattern of play was predictable, we gave the ball a way needlessly of several occasions. Plenty to work on but we won so happy days.

Let's hope nobody who didn't go to the game tells me I'm wrong as your opinion isn't valid.

Still much work to be done if we're going to steer clear of relegation, but we're heading in the right direction.

We're yet to beat a team in the top half of the table and it's about time we did if the players and to prove they're any good.

The obvious thing is to only let people that register post here. Then if people create an account just to be dickheads, they can have their ip's banned. Surprised this hasn't been done already to be honest. Being allowed to post anonymously doesn't make any sense.

I make that 3 wins on the bounce, I make that £4,500 in the bank, I make that a round further than last years team.
We  could have easily drawn that game today but the boys stuck at it and got the win. Lets give credit to E Thurrock you can see why they are top of there league. The performance wasnt exceptional but it was enough to win us that match and that should be the biggest positive so lets not reflect on any negatives as for me there isnt any.

Tommy Whitnell is growing as a player and is it me or does he remind you of Charlie as in he can be very quiet but is always in the right place at the right time, his 2nd was a bit special.

Firsting 'Spills', if that is your real name to suggest there no negatvies is very blinkered eyes, especially as you say yourself we could have drawn at home to a team two league below us.

Whitnell has more skills than Sheringham, his running off the ball and link up play is very good, he has an exceptional footballing brain, a bit like myself. Most of our positive play came when he linked things up. Let's hope he gets tied down to a proper contract soon before he ends up in a Woking shirt.

His second goal was a good take and he wins some balls in the air. From my recollection though most of his goals ahve been within the six yard box.

Feel as though he bodes well as a player but I have yet to feel that we have a striker who is going to get 15-20 goals this season
