I think he is injured along with another Stortford striker. Besides, I think taunting him could be counter-productive - he'd more likely to want to stick the ball in our net.

I'm not that bothered about him to be honest. I didn't like him going but loyalty amongst footballers is a rare thing and we will see it happen again. I think he has shot himself slightly in the foot - he would have scored goals at PVR like he's doing now at Stortford but i'm sure we get better press coverage and are known more within non league and league circles.

I'm with the Dutchman here: Stortford have got Sherry, and time will tell if we've got as prolific a goalscorer in Tom Whitnell.
As someone who watched his dad at TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR & was gutted when he left for utd But he did a great job for us. Then when when he came back we welcome him with open arms. So its time to put this negative hate to bed & get behind the boyos in RED ....and turn up on the day........
I Understand Booing Players Shows them your displeasure but I think they already know what to expect especially the ones "chasing the pound note". There Is Very Rarely loyalty In footballers these days When was the last time a Testimonial Was Played for A Big Named Player for playing at a Club for his career? In life if a job with more money comes along Most people do go. whether it be Greed or necessities. I Agree with Exec Lounge Bertie, we've all seen it returning player more fired up just to prove a point. Every now and then though Someone comes In as a replacement and You dont Miss The departing player. I know its a different league But take Arsenal Henry out- Adebayor great season, an this season they still scoring goals. And In Tom Whitnell we got a good Replacement for charlie I Believe. Like Gary. Im Not that Bothered. Fordy Knows His Weakness's And His Strengths so in all honsety we got a bit of a tactical advantage.**

As I have said before, it is how he departed that I feel he could have handled differently. I cheered him on last year and voted for him as my player of last season. I wish him all the best except when as an opposing player. In regard to him being extra motivated, comming back to PVR will be all the motivation required weather he gets abuse or not. As for me I will give him as much friendly 'stick' as I possibly can at every opportunity during the match. But afterwards if I see him in the bar I'll drink to his health and thank him for last season.
