Well let them think that...........as they say its a funny old game, was at the wembley in 1987 with the YID army...all we had to do was turn up & the cup was ours !!!!!...As did coventry at sutton ...... __________________ S&B

To be fair to Dover fans, after the way we played down there and the performances of late not many people would have us down as winners (including me i hate to say). __________________

Ture Gary... yes it will be great to see them win, but want i really want to see is Welling play like we know they can, & win or lose that we can hold our heads high...even better a draw, then we can see just how many of the dover turn up. Big cup game? Where? It's only Welling Utd, not exactly big, rather small really, or you could say piss poor, Ashford town would have been a bigger draw than you lot __________________

Back to what this thread was originally about, the post to the Prediction League might not really reflect how Dover fans feel about this game. This is a Prediction League ran by somebody on our forum where we "predict" the results of the game, not many don't post a Dover victory. I for one ALWAYS "predict" a Dover victory even if I think it may be a difficult game and we could get beat. If we were to play United or Chelsea, I guarantee most of the predictions would be for a Dover win!!! Have a good trip down here and may the best team win on Saturday! __________________

HonestDoverFan, Don't waste effort trying to explain to the morons on here. Quite simply whenever Welling are at home to a side where our budget is 3 times the opponent we expect victory. And Dover fans are no different. The majority of Welling fans know we're going to get beat. __________________

I'm not being funny but it's only Dover. It's not like they are really anything special. Ok they are higher up in the BSS than we are but they are just another BSS team. __________________
