The Dover pitch could be a tad heavy tomorrow - exceptionally heavy rain here in East Kent - although there has been a very long dry spell and I think their pitch drains reasonably well. (Which is more than can be said for the rugby/cricket pitches at the foot of the hill).
Off topic, there is a very interesting thread on the Cray Wanderers forum (hidden in posts about youth match) where comparisons are made with similarly named teams - eg Otford United (where Cray's youth team plays) and Oxford Utd; Bray and Cray etc. But most amusing was a claim (although it may be a spoof) that there was a Sunday league team in Bexleyheath named Shakhther Senseless (after Shakhther Donetsk). I guess this may be a very old joke. I'll get my coat.
