Once again a player not turning upfor the 2nd half.......IF anyone from the club reads this forum, it was once again gutless ... you know who you are . only Steve King, Wellings MOTM. & Charlie Mitten can hold their heads high. Lee Protheroe still gives 100%, but he should be learning his trade on the side line. As for Fordy if your going to walk, do it or stay & how about eatting humble pie & try & get Sonny back & look for a forward who is a match with centre back, who at the mo tower over our forwards. then Hobbys Tom, Clarke, maybe able to feed on the knock downs. not asking for route 1.. if this means a getting rid of the dead wood then do it .. Oh if his not on one then get Steve King on a contact.
My dear name & dob your posting appears to come from the heart and I think what you're saying is that changes have to be made. From my position as I watch the game I thought there were some positives. Firstly the first half was in my opinion the best display I've seen this season. We were strong at the back with Mr King & Mr Andrews winning most things. It was good to see two large men up front and if Mr Finn could learn to release the ball quicker or even shoot or take on the goal keeper when the oppotunity arises we may have scored. However, the effort appeared to die away in the second half and once we went one down I just could not see where a goal was going to come from us. I don't understand the tactics of the game but even I thought the substitutions were strange. I certainly wasn't impressed with Mr Ford comments (although limited) as he left the field at the end. In summary, all I can say is "don't stand on the yellow lines".
Hello Mr Trigger Well Stone & Gaisie are not the answer up front. yes Finn to put the ball in early, but if there is no one to cross to !. Need to sort out the midfiled, Johnson seem weak, Blackburn always fights in the middle. need a leader, a play maker, a strong forward ..... Ref the yellow lines...he was just doing his job. heath & saftey is not a dirty word ... see ya all on saturday !!!!..........
For those of us there saturday . we all know what was said to Fordy ...not out of order, & we all heard him mutter under his breath ..................... then " you dont know the half of it "...also he has said many times before , " i dont need this ".... so tell us ...what we dont know .....Knowledge is power,
With all due respect to Mr Protheroe, do you think that it is time for Mr Ford to have a full time/experienced assistant. I was talking with someone yesterday who reminded me that Mr Ford has done well when he had Mr Dack and Mr Pennant. With Proth's on the pitch, he had no one to talk things over with.

Thats so true Tigger........ Also need Lee or someone to get out scouting ( tapping up)....
Thats what I said a while back, whilst at Gravesend Fordy had Pennock and got them into and maintained their place in the conference national as semi pro's. Similarly he did well for us under the circumstances when he had Dack to bounce ideas off.
I see no reason why Lee can't be a coach, and do his badges whilst still playing, but from a selfish point of view I think we need someone more expereinced. Fordy, to me anyway, appears to be dealing with everything very much alone.
