I hope we don't draw Dover again!  I wonder what the odds are on drawing them at home?  Knowing our luck we'll get another tough draw - Dartford, Woking, Tonbridge (away) or, even worse, Thurrock (where we won't even get the consolation of a reasonable crowd!)

Locally, I believe - local being anywhere between East Kent and Basingstoke.  (Oh dear, I hope I have not tempted fate). I think it goes marginally national in the first round proper and then fully national in the second round. Remember we drew Blyth Spartans away a few years back?

Its a good draw, LOWER league opposition who havent played at the same level as us since Noah built the ark. We have to get into the mentality that we will beat teams like this easily. Like the FA CUP some were worried as East thurrock were playing well.

STUFF Lower league opposition, they have been poncing about in lower leagues for one reason, we are better than them.

So be confident and it spreads to the players.

I thank you. Tree Huggers can mumble Oooh eck we will lose 4-0, the rest can be confident we will beat this lower league team that are never in a position to be in a good enough league to play us.

Whilst i agree with your sentiments JGFC, the players have to be careful not to take it for granted - we've seen where that got us with teems like Clevedon.

I think a win against Worcester will start to give the players good confidence, which is certainly what we're lacking the most.

I think this is a good draw.  Home against a lower league team is all you can hope for and they should also bring a good number of supporters for a local derby.  You would hope the gate would be 700-800 so the club should make some money from it with a good chance of further progress.

Thats the spirit. I wasnt suggesting we can play about with them, just that we should expect to beat them and not be scared of them. Perform at our best or near it and we win, simple.

I'd still call it local.  We could have drawn Truro!

Saturday 21st according to official site.

Not sure if Trophy takes precedent over league games but it looks like it does.

Think its will be the Friday or the Sunday Alan. Didnt this happen before with Worcester City and they slung all their toys out of the pram when the game was switched? Erith i think get preference as its a league game.

Think their board called us all sorts.
