I hope negotiations between the two clubs over Jamie Day are sorted out soon - otherwise it could have an effect on the morale of our players going into a match at the weekend.

Dartford are ****s! We let them have John Guest and i am telling you all now. Jamie had an agreement with their boss to go if a higher club came in. Its their Chairman Skinner who has the hump over this.

Most of Dartford's fans have been fine on there, One or two are demanding a high fee. Just shows you. Some clubs dont try and hiold back a players progress and others do.
I realise he may be under contract, but Jamie told me to my face he had an agreement to go with the Manager. He may have signed a contract AFTER this.
This will not help Dartford or their manager in attracting players (manager says to players you can go if... , then they try and stop him or ask for a fee) . And we may even get a few of their players who will see Jamie being held back and want to join him at Welling where he wants to be.

TBF hes under contract they are saying, now if he did have an agreement to go if an offer came in that may not be in the contract if hes signed that after, and the chairman may not have been told of any handshake the boss had with Daisy. I think this is all down to one man at Dartford having the hump one of his best players wants to go to a local rival.
It does make Dartford look amateur and some are saying its us tapping him up.
I feel sorry for Barrie and Barry to be fair. I dont think this is their fault at all.

Look I know you need to get a new manager but if you make an announcement that you have appointed someone who is contracted to another club and the move has not been agreed by their chairman, I think it makes Welling look amateur. I dare say that Jamie will be realeased if he wants to leave but it would of been better for both clubs if there was better communication between them rather then just hand shakes.

Jamie must have known Dartford would release him (I hope!).
I suppose Dartford fans won't be too happy losing a good player and from their messageboard they don't understand how they can leave them. I know they're top, they have a good council who supplies a decent ground, they get good crowds but they are forgetting we've been playing in a higher league for many years now and Jamie has the chance to manage, not just play.
