Daisy just interviewed on Radio Kent-happy with the budget and he thought it was better than what he expected!

May carry on playing providing he can get in the side, one or two new faces he hopes but good basis to work on but some of the players lacking in confidence.

Proths wants to carry on playing

Well done boys and nice work Proths for giving Jamie a platform. He might get a run in the side with (if the wie site is right) Johnson coming off after 20 mins. Lets hope thats wrong or if right it is not too serious.

Be interesting to hear how Clarke and Stone played. One of them needs to be firing if we want to clear more ground on the black hole.

You're joking right? Protheroe is shocking as a defender. Sambrook isn't much better but i'd still rather see him. Day should be able to waltz into our team, he's a top midfielder imo.

Definetly, neither one is exactly ideal to play there. But Protheroe (when i've watched him) has had some shockers, including the penalty he gave away last week vs Lewes. But as much as i'm not a fan of him, I have to take my hat off for steering us to some good results in recent weeks. Would be nice if he takes up a coaching post.

Maybe with Daisy managing Lee will be happier in his full back role.If a number 2 comes in Proths can still be Player/Coach.

Today i thought that clarke played pretty well in midfield as did Sambrook when he came on

Any way 2 clean sheets and 6 points....better

Two clean sheets, thanks to Charlie, a great & inportant save. Lee has done a great job, i do hope he keeps his place at the back. Missed Steve King in the air, for corners & free kicks. Clarke had a good game in the middle, could have made it safe near the end, but hay he got there, as again Stone did'nt do anything to say he will be here much longer, as we all know we are weak up front, so this should be the first things Jamie deals with...
So well done boys two clean sheets unbeaten in 3 !!!......could we make it 4 ?
Again thanks to Lee for stepping ............

markx said clarke played in midfield today,i thought he had played there for st albans, this is good news because we are very limited in the centre of midfield.
did not know sambrook can play midfield, and i still think we need hardman midfielder,to win the ball.
I figure we only have 17 squad players including mr day,now cracknell and king are injured.
Its been stated mr day is happy with budget, and some players are low in confidence, scores albeit close are going our way although against lower teams like ourselves, this will start making them believe hopefully.
ALL WE NEED NOW IS SPONORSHIP MR HOBBINS.
THATS SHALLOT.

A few drunken points:

Sambrook was my MOTM today:
He came on in an unfamiliar position and did everything that was asked of him & more. He got the ball & gave it to feet; nothing flash but exact;y what was needed.

It had 0-0 nailed on at HT but we took the chance, aided by two excellent Mittens saves, and got the points.

Clarke is a class act - play him up front.

I was really impressed to see Jamie in the stand today. Some say it was expected but he doesnt officially take over till Monday and Worcester aint exactly local! I thought we deserved our victory and at times played some lovely football on a sticky pitch. Still room for improvement but lots to be very positive about. Clarke had his best game in a wings shirt and Sambrook did very well in centre midfield. Finn and Faz are starting to find some form so It boads well for the future. Charlie is one of the best keepers in this league FACT.
