I have just spoken to Barrie and at this point in time the game is ON.

Knowing what the forecast was the pitch got lots of attention yesterday and was well spiked and the surface water is being sucked off as I write.  All will be fine unless there is a sustained heavy downpour when a pitch inspection might be necessary.
