Great result tonight and we played well for the most part. I'm really glad that the Welling fans that stood behind the goals we were shooting towards, made a lot more effort singing and taking the piss out of the opposing players, especially the telly tubby in goal :D That was more like it! Think I'll carry on joining them in future, if they keep showing this much enthusiasm for the game :)
I assume I'm not alone in thinking that the referee tonight was particularly bad!!!
Can someone remember the last time we won 5 games in all competitions in a row? I certainly can't. I wonder what the record is.

Brilliant win tonight, I am really enjoying how we are trying to get the ball down and play if anything we over played at times. We were by no means foot perfect tonight but when you consider we only played 48 hours ago the result was much more important. Everyone had a good game but special mention goes to Clarkey another great game in the centre, Finn and Faz who look rejuvenated and Micheal Deane. Lastly what a simple but fantasically well worked 1st goal. Great singing too it makes such a difference to the players.
Only negative was the attendance.

not surprised as a tuesday with cheque league football on tv - have to admit i missed another game last night but will be in basingstoke on saturday to make up for it
I agree i thought Clarke was verry good last night but i think a lot of praise has to go to the back 4 Jack and Greame were outstanding last night and Charlie made a few excellent saves as well
Don't have to go back that far JgFc, in the 97/8 season we won our last 5 games on the trot and in the process beat the eventual Champions Halifax 6-2, runners up Cheltenham 2-1, and fourth place Rushden 1-0 - all in 22 days. If you include the opening game for 98/9 the winning streak is 6 games.
Our target now must surely be to surpass the unbeaten League run of 9 games in 2005/6 (6 wins + 3 draws)
