Hello Bazza - could it be Mr Scrooge?  I do hope that it is not one of those very heavy, seasonal, ales.  Still, it has to be quaffed I suppose.  Don't move it too much - I need to be able to sample it!  Thank you "Teddy", Bazza, Dave et al.

Oh Dear Jeff it is indeed a seasonal warmer, but at "only" 4.4 shouldnt be too heavy.

All the reviews say its just above average at worst and a bit better than that at the top end of the reviews so should be fine.

Well done the club for getting it in. All they need now is gold label barley wine and hooligans on draught.

Well seeing as i used the bar for the first time on Tuesday and enjoyed it in there, i think i may be tempted back in if they can keep getting in decent beers :D Nothing wrong with seasonal ales! :)

I shall be resuming my assault on seasonal ales in the Turnpike tomorrow afternoon probably.

I think you guys are being spoilt....Real Ale indeed.
"Getting a barrel in", Poor 'ol Baz running up and down those stairs.
I'd be as happy with PG Tips tea bags in my cuppa.

Wethespoon Christmas ale list completed. Nicholson's winter list started.

I'll enjoy some Humbug tomorrow I hope.
