Looking at Welling's budget restraints as well as our place in the league table...is it a New Year for happily plodding and ensuring safety or to shift a few out and get the one guy in and experiment at the back?

Safety being assured is not an issue, we are on the up, and there is a substantial gap already ... I think we have the players to play three at the back in the squad already if the fullback positions are where we are weakest ...

How can you play 3 at the back when the wingers get slated for being in and out?

Maybe try Finn and Hurrell? but finn injured? If you go 3 at the back then the widey are doing more running and also need to deliver.
