Until someone tells me whether Ben wins a contract with Inter (and please dont publish anyone in the know as I dont want Bruno's sanction ).
I decided to finish with Sky this weekend having been with them for 10+ years. Although the sport is good the rest is pretty rubbish during the week. Fifty quid value for money for something I dont use , I dont think so.
So the signal goes tomorrow-I shall then start waiting for the phone to ring to find out how much loved as an ex customer I am
SKY is a brilliant product let down by absolute garbage administration. As long as you leave it alone it goes OK. As soon as you change something on your package is when your problems start.
I got so peed off with them I switched to NTL. At first they weren't much better but since Virgin took over it's been fine. The Virgin+ thingy is great.
I can understand what you mean though. You can channel hop some nights and end up putting a DVD on because it's all crap.
I have the full Sky package and have had it since 1990! But i watch a lot of stuff online. Almost everything you can watch on Sky can be watched online.
I think i just carry on with it because i am used to having the channels. Probably only watch 5 or 6 channels anyway.

For series you would be better searching for SERIES NAME EPISODE NUMBER + Torrent . For live sport atdhe.net or justin or ustream or channelstreaming or myp2p.eu

How can you give money to Rupert Murdoch? Well done BKN
I agree, hence I went with Virgin, despite moving to a house complete with satellite dish! Apparently sports should be getting cheaper soon as Sky have got to reduce what they charge Virgin, although I'll believe it when it happens. Also agree that all those channels still frequently mean there's nothing to watch, although the odd movie is worth catching.
I wish I had the option to get rid of SKY. I'm still using my black and white T.V with the push button channel selectors.
Wow state of the art machine you have there Mr Trigger. My set has a dial to change from BBC to channel 3. On top of which I have to put a 2 bob bit in the slot every half hour. On a serious note I can remember as a child the moans and groans if a programme ever got repeated (which happened on rare occasions). Now we have stations galore showing nothing but repeats. Progress is a wonderfull thing!
Trigger is the king of the forum - another classic. Difficult to read some of his postings at work as it makes me burst out laughing and we all know we should not be seen to be enjoying ourselves at work.
