would be taking a chance as i assume the budget is set at predicted attendances (i assume it works that way)

it could potentially bump up our attendances and money lost on ticket sales would be made up on burger/beer sales surely

any thoughts?

An interesting idea but it probably would have to coincide with Charlton being away to entice their fans. Of course young Patsy would need to recruit an army of scratch card sellers for the day.

I think the burger bar is privately owned. They probably pay a set fee to the club for being there.

I think kids for a quid would work though. £1 for kids accompanied by a paying adult.

You'd have to set a minimum entry fee. You can just imagine all the local chancers trying to get in for pennies.

true but if people bought beer and programmes when they came in then surely we could make the cash up?

agree on the point about having to be on a Charlton away day though

What about this?

If our average gate is say 500 and the average price is £10 per person. This would equate to gate receipts of £5000. Taking that into account, what about increasing our entrance fee and that would mean we would acheive our current amount with fewer fans. £100 per ticket would mean only 50 fans needed to turn up, surely we'd get more than that. I'm a great believer in the 80/20 rule and am confident that a twenty percent reduction in supporters would not cripple us financially.

i thought the 80/20 rule was with regards the material make of a carpet ; 80% wool / 20 % polyster ????
