FT.  A little slip given what Daysie has driven us to expect.  Well done wings, we'll need to pick up the big points at home! 

They kicked us off the pitch, We started on fire with Sam and Jack down the left. But then we went to sleep, Yaku was offside and it went for a corner. Deep corner 6 yards out and buried no one near him. They had a spell where everything was launched and took us a while to get back into it. We had a header cleared off line.

Second half they had 5 mins penning us in at start then some lovely football and great strike from Whitnell and we sensed blood.

Then Clarke ( i think, sorry if not) thought he was Beckenbaur poncing about with it outside our box playing Ronaldo and was robbed 2 touches later and 2-1, both their goals terrible defending. I should add we were playing football and on the receiving end of 3 or 4 two footed tackles and we had a worse homer than last year at their place and the linesman... JESUS specsavers never gave us a thing all night and never flagged for a free kick.

Equaliser was class again pretty football played out to edge of the box and driven in. The we were all over them but couldnt get the winner. We put a couple of set pieces over or wide when should have scored. Jesus Loui ran his nuts off, fair play and Sam got us going early on.

We played well, we come back twice and we played football and werent protected by the ref from scandalous challenges.

PS i had a row with Karl Beckford, he might have a go at some people in the crowd, picked the wrong one in me, i merked him and then he reckons hes coming to welling next year! i hope not cos his attitude is terrible.

Well played Wings. After the terrible defending and the homer ref we still should have won. Incredibly.... their fans on way out were saying thats 2 points dropped and they should be beating teams like us at home. PMSL

He played once or twice for us under Parker.

The team worked hard for each other yet again and deserved the draw.
Some players looked a bit jaded which is not a surprise long round trip to newport back to there day jobs on monday,then to hampton and playing on two dodgy pitches plus the ref at hampton he must think assault is part of football .

I gave the ref some verbal and he said calm down, i told him where to go and he started trying to be cute with me and mug me off. I then told him he was useless etc etc and we had a 5 minute "conversation". I will not post what was said by either of us. But i wouldnt want him to play for Welling with some of the things he was saying about our league and the two teams playing last night. Craig Dundas seemed to enjoy our little bit of banter.

He said at the end i will be probably playing for Welling next year and we will be friends. Hes a funny guy.

One weakness of Clarke is he can be a bit casual. Don't know why players are like that all it proves is that they're not THAT good!
