This was mentioned by someone when Pugh left last week, that it was likely Gills would try to farm him out to a BSP club to see if he can make the grade in full-time football, and this will effect whether the Gills offer him a new deal in the summer. If he doesnt make it then he'll get released and we have to be near the top of the list to get him in the summer.
On another note, Pugh and Sheringham are too similar in my view, and cant picture them playing together.
