Started poorly, picked up for about 15 min spell after they scored.
Playing long ball up to Hobbs and Clarke. Only using left flank.
Cracknell apparently sent off for high challenge but injury to plauers ankle. Welling supporters incensed as Lewis player conceding pen was last man and not sent off but Cracknell sent off for an offence he did bot commit.
Pitch starting to cut up.
Welling look the more likely side to rake 3 points.

Our full backs were targeted. Fair play to the team they kept running. We st arted slow and went for hoofball. Ref was a homer.
Lewes really wanted it, Our lot need to show in the next game that they want it. Deane was given a torrid time second half , We shot ourselfs in the foot but they tried to get back in it.
Not good enough today. Great support fron the away fans today they were magnificent. We probably had 150 ish or more there, some said 200.

Heard Jamie rested himself and also says that on kentishfootball... IF he did thats an almighty balls up, L'anson is a flair player not strong enough on todays showing easily snuffed out and knocked off the ball. He has a football brain though and tried. Andrews probably our best player. Cutler, Deane and Hobbs probably will feel dissapointed with their performances.
Huge game next and then Douvre win those and its game on. Hopefully all players react positively as Daisy will learn about a few of them in the next few games for next season.
PUB!

Great shame that one of the best turnouts of Wings fans at an away game this season witnessed one of the poorest performances. No Welling player was really outstanding but I agree that if you had to name a MOM for Welling it would probably be Andrews.
Looking at today's other results and the table, I think that we now need to beat both Braintree and Dover to have a realistic chance of qualifying for the play-offs. At least there can be no risk of complacency in those two games.
Bad result today, dont want to blame any one person but to leave out manager himself and top goalscorer was a costly decision, and we paid the price. We took them too lightly, fair play to them.

i was told by the bench he was injured so i believe them
fact is the big games are over easter so we MUST win them
These same players have been fantastic, allow them a slip up and give them the chance to bounce back. Lewes had a style of play, they were up for it, we left out players and started slowly.
You cannot say our boys didnt fight hard in the second half. They never stopped running or coming forward.
Massive games coming up. Enjoy them and back the players to put a wrong right.
Jamie will make mistakes. He will also learn from them. Hes hasnt done a bad job has he?
Quote of the day yesterday was from Russ when a Lewes fan chirpily said "See you next season". I wont put what the reply was but it was a classic.

I don't see any reason to panic at all. So we actually lost a game, but we won the previous 5 scoring 17 goals in the process :D Also, despite the attendance figures for home games going down, the crowd make more noise these days, so the Dover game should be a noisy one.

He was resting an injury so both versions are correct to an extent.
it would be good for experience to get to the play offs but to go up can we really afford to go up, our crowd numbers would have to go up to be able to pay wages for the standard of players we will need to survive in the prem, and if we do not get them players we would possibly struggle and normally when a team struggles the crowds dwindle as well

we would get bigger atendances as we will get a lot more away fans in
We would also get more 'floaters' more exposure, more money from Blue Square and other Conference sponsors, and would be more attractive froma commercial standpoint.
Also, we would only have to get through one round of the FA Cup for a potential money spinner!!
I think Jamie is a yellow card away from a suspension. In which case to rest in this game makes sense to ensure he didn't get suspended and miss the next games. I think he was entitled to think that without him we should have still beaten Lewes.
I also disagree that the ref was a Homer - He gave us quite a few decsions in the first half that were wrong and I though our penalty was a little generous. We weren't good enough today and they deserved their win. I hope they stay up - nice ground.
Big game at Baintree and I think we will be up for it. Attitude was wrong today.
Thought Cracknell was straight leg challenge with the studs showing. I think that construes not beng in control of the challenge these days and is always liable for a red.
Thought we made sure of our penalty. Probably was one but you'd probably not view it so generously if it had been given in our box.
Didn't see that the challenge that got the Lewes player the rd necessarily warranted more than a yellow.
We didn't really look like scoring except from the spot until about the last 20 minutes
The quality of the night out in Hastings remains for those of a rock persuasion with the added entertainment of a car being set alight on the prom this time.....!

I understand what you are saying but we got to get that sponsership in place, and yes we would get better away support but if we cannot get a strong team that can compete in the prem the home fans would only be the true fans and some might drop off if we are struggling, I personally think it would be better to get the experience of the play offs and then build from there for a challenge on the title next season and in this league next year we could have Dover, Bromley, Dartford Ebbsfleet and possibly someone like Tonbridge and Grays and they would be some good gates there for us to build on
