I believe he is suspended for the last two anyway so pretty safe bet that he won't play again this season.
Could well be destined for bigger and better things but I hope the club get recompensed AND a good sell on clause in case he really does make a career for himself.
I agree we are unlikely to see Jack play again this season since as Wingnut has said he is suspended for the last 2 games.
I would also agree that Jack could be destined for bigger and better things but I would not assume at this stage that this will happen during the summer break.
As far as speculation about what any potential transfer would mean to Welling United in terms of hard cash I very much doubt that we would get £50K if Jack were to be tempted to try and make it in the pro game with the present financial situation at at least 2 of the clubs who are tracking him.
The first news relating to Jack and next season that I want to hear is that we have shown our commitment to him and offered him an extension of his contract.

Hes young and captain and attracting scouts. He has a big future.
When players go for 50-200k from non league to league we must look at 50k as a ball park figure with a very good sell on. IF he left.
I would say if div 3 club 25-30k minimum, Div 2 30-50k and championship or higher £200k and all with a 30% sell on. I would hope Jack would only go to a league club if he went. I personally think Andrews is just as good.
We shouldnt undersell ourself the deal has to be right for us too.
Having said that Jack is a decent young man and it would be fanatastic if he started the season with us. We will see if he signs a contract early if those are not just words we want to hear.
How does 10k replace a player of his quality when a league club comes in.

John Still was going to ask him down to D&R for a kick about. Won't see John until next Tues now, but I think £50k is a little too much for D&R unless that includes a sell on.
