we need a new main sponsor. we need a bigger playing budget for a stronger team/squad. we need the main shareholders to want promotion because i have my doubts.
jgfc you express your thoughts and feelings with fervour and passion and i applaud you ,but i will too. change of subject why yorkshire cricket club also your last statement about folkestone those who would not play should be kicked out i agree but could it be they have not been paid .
If i put up things i try to put up ways or things to improve things.
Your post just seems a dig at the club. The players and possibly the management team in the last month or so let the club down this season not those who own it.
To clarify that they were good enough to string runs together including results vs the top sides but when the crunch came they went missing, to improve this Jamie and his team should demand more and we should look for a few players who not only have the skills equal to the players we have, but have a proven character.

As for Folkestone, i trust what Jamie said in the press about resting players.
Why would he not tell the truth?
We should be hearing about players that have been released now? Other clubs have published their retained list. Ok we wont get many signings for a month or two. Would be nice that Jamie knows who he is binning.

jgfc i am not digging the club out ,you have stated that what i asked everybody knows. jgfc the team/squad was found wanting and jamie knows quite a few changes have to be made . jgfc you and i are welling fans /supporters i might add you a lot longer than i we will agree disagree but bottom line is welling were not there at the end sadly. jgfc that said a nightmare start turned into a enjoyable season but did seem to fizzle out .
I just get the hump when people have a dig at the club when its not their fault. I will criticise when they balls up, and they know that.
Despite the club shop raising nothing, despite no sponsor, despite the commercial department being non existant. The club managed to fund a budget and allow Jamie to wheel and deal.
What cost the chances of promotion and or a cup were SOLELY, the players going missing and the management failing to motivate them.
On that basis, we do not need a bigger budget, the club would love a sponsor and if you have doubts on the club wanting promotion then give Barrie or Barry a call at the ground.
Criticise them when its warranted, but please dont blame them for this season as the reason we fell short was on the motivation, bottle, coaching and ethics on the playing side.

You can add fatigue to that but I don't think there was a problem with motivation.
jgfc i understand if/when you get the hump but like i said these are my observations statements suggestions and it does not make them a criticism. jgfc we have both stated in previous postings that we were surprised with MR DAY getting job but it has been a good one also ashby and frost are committed . jgfc your last post states what i said the team/squad not good/strong enough and new players are needed. jgfc when i have spoken to barry and barrie the answers are not convincing.
jgfc missed it first time but just read ,the old classic i can have my onion but your always right TEA it will have to be i dont drink know need to fall out .
Sadly we do need a sponsor on board that might be able to generate a bigger playing budget which we will need to be able to compete in this league next season, there are clubs that will be in it that will have more clout with money than we do, thats why I think Jamie will have his work cut out to get decent players in, As we know JGFC Adam Gross is a target for Jamie mainly because of his frienship with him, but how far will the friendship go if Mr Gross is on more money than we can afford to pay now what chance do we have in getting him if we cannot offer more money and lets be fair would anyone leave a job to another one for less money
must agree about charlie mitten best keeper in the league is there a chance he may leave also andrews and parky must syay a nice big centre forward who can play with his back to goal and a foot in passer who is good in the air for the midfeild ideas anybody
Had we been s**t this season he would have retired, but with things looking on the up and with him being Player of the Year, Im sure we can talk him into one more season.
But hampered badly by the loss of Cracknell and Parkinson for the last few weeks. There were plenty of 'utility' players but no real replacement for these two.
The team was at it's best when Clarke was in midfield with Pugh and Whitnell up front. Had a replacement be found for Pugh we would have had a game on Tuesday night!!!
We had Marsh. He scored quite a few goals in the Kent Senior Cup but never got off the bench in the league. I know the teams in the league are of a higher standard but I feel we should have given him a go.
