It is dragging on, He was going to sign lots of times, then when hes on holiday. It does seem hes waiting for a bigger offer from Dartford, Bromley or whoever.
We have Danny Lawrence on trial who can play as a winger. I would set a deadline of the weekend. If hes away sign it and fax it simple. We need to look after the club not one player.
I dont feel this is harsh at all this has now been going on 6-7 weeks. thats more than enough.
If i were daisy i would say the offer is no longer there and bring in someone else. Every other player in the squad and the new signings have committed. Its entirely loui's choice where he plays but i am now in the opinion that we say bye bye and get someone in who doesnt need two months to decide. It doesnt seem like he wants to play for us but will if he has no better offer. For a start i would reduce the offer we made to him and add it to the available budget to bring in someone who does want to play for us and who isnt stalling us.
No excuse to not sign after 6 weeks. I would guess Jamie will have a look at lawson and lawrence instead.
As for the fixtures they said 3rd of July but that was the day they released them last season? So just lazy old Strudwick, Mark is correct imho 2nd or 5th instead. We have to give Strudwick enough time to factor in away at Havant on a Tuesday for us and crap games over Xmas.

Hmmm - I see from the NLP that AFC Wimbledon say one of their long-term targets is back on the market having told them "no" last month. I hope it is not the player I think it is.

Anyway, Loui should have singed for us by now or joined another club, simple as that. It doesn't take two months to make a decision on wether to take a job offer or not. He is the only player that has dragged his feet over signing a new contract. Someone like Pugh (who is a better player) couldn't sign for us quick enough.
