Absolute farce. They claim to the FA that they have a ground share arrangemetn with East Thurrock. East Thurrock say no you haven't.
Maidstone in a similar dilema?

It makes you wonder.
VCD got chucked out of the Rymans even though their ground was upgraded by the time the league stated yet Grays are admitted with no ground agreement in place.
Maybe Maidstone will ground share with VCD and continue in the Ryman!!
Fans have the ability to question poor running of finances while they are throwing money everywhere.
But can they do anything about it? If we had a rich benefactor who ploughed loads of money in and we signed players on two year contracts, then he left after six months what would happen?
I find it hard to have sympathy for Grays because their fans gave it BBB and Woodward's tapping of Danny Kedwell put him off his game for a while.
Is their chairman the same Andy Swallow who orchestrated ICF violence in the 80's?
Grays Athletic under Woodward was a strange club. Every time the fans questioned him he threw his toys out of the pram and either banned them or threatened to quit taking his money with him. Three times (I think) he appointed himself as team manager and each time they had shocking results. Their supporters must have known it would all go wrong eventually as their football related income could not possibly cover their outgoings.
The double glazing bloke at Hornchurch was another one and Weymouth have had a string of idiots at the helm, none more so than the current one who hires and fires managers by text.
Personally, I dislike boom and bust clubs because they cheat properly run clubs out of promotion, and cheat the people who end up having to take 8p in the £ of monies owed.
Salisbury's appeal on here rightly got the abuse it deserved. I think that was pretty much the case throughout all the boards on which it was raised.
