Great report. And a big thanks to Phil Parkinson for sending such a strong team. Even the Addicks site says tonight was a much stringer team than played on Saturday.
Welling looked good at times and gave as good as they got at times but Charlton had that extra bit of class you would expect. Dadson has hopefully signed after the game, i cant see Jamie needing to see any more, hes clever, bright and quick. Almost scored for us and will be a crowd favourite, had a smile on his face a lot so lets hope he enjoys it at Welling and ads to the team spirit we had last year.

Yeah Dadson impressed, I also liked the look of Marsden in the middle, I would like to see Daisy give him some more game time, although the only trouble for him is that the centre midfield is a postion where we are strong. I hope we sign Lawson as he is a stong player in my opinion, for the first time in many seasons we have 4 top quality strikers and I think this strike force could see us hovering around the play off postitions come May. Good start so far.

Welling played very well tonight, but Charlton were just too good for them. It proves that we have a good defence though, as it could have been 3 or 4 nil to Charlton. Good to see Welling putting the boot in a lot more in the second half.
Can we expect to see higher or lower attendances for the Millwall and Arsenal games?

Lawson impressed for me, looked quite pacy and appears to have overcome his bad injury last time.
Marsden did look quite composed on the ball which is good.
The big thing for me was that Jamie's got them playing nice football. At one point in the first half we carved open their defence down the left side. I think Loui and Dadson give us good balance out wide and as has been said before can switch flanks which is a great asset.
As for attendances I reckon Arsenal 1000+ and Millwall 7-800 odd as it'll be X1 with odd fringe player.
We can get more for Arsenal, it a saturday in the summer and Arsenal are the one team who are known for their youngsters.
On a different note i have just watched tonights match again, we werent as good second half and some sloppy errors gave Charlton their chances in the second half. We played some good stuff and probably shaded the first half, but second half we werent in the game for large parts.
Dadson and Marsden the pick for me tonight, but all played their part and we looked solid without creating more than a couple of chances. Nice to see Daisy let fly from distance tonight too.

I was quite impressed with Dadson but I am still concerned that we lack a bit of power/size in the team. Him and Loui are good attacking players but not sure they are too clever going the other way.
Thought Coyle looked solid in the first half and you could tell when the first choice centre halves had gone off as we looked more vulnerable after that.
Who was the 10 second half? I am guessing it was "Q" ? If so he looked like he could be a real handful for defences at our level. He was strong and quick and, if he can finish, then I think we have a real player on our hands.
Thought 1st half was much better than the 2nd, the right winger for us wern't all that IMO and when we went from 4-4-2 to 4-5-1 we dipped a bit in the performance.
All in all a good performance against a strong Charlton side.
