Daisy obviously chose Pires and Healy over Lawson, Lets hope they both do the business and its proved a good choice.

Only time will tell. Seems funny to me hes offered Lawson terms but in the interim hes signed 2 strikers!

I just dont think Jamie Fancies Lawson and thats his call, hes the boss. You can only judge him after a few games on whether Pires and Healy do the business.

So lets hope they do, I did think when the pre season boys were listed and lawson wasnt in the list and it was mentioned on here, then he was added to the list, that he wasnt in Daisys plans.

At least he had a look at him in pre season so well done Daisy on that. I think it will haunt us. Daisy is paid to make the decisions and use his judgement and he will live or die and be measured on those.

Healy does seem a poor one, lets hope choosing Healy over Lawson doesnt bite us on the arse and cost us.

Meanwhile, two mystery Canadian trialists are hoping to force their way into Days plans after the manager revealed to News Shopper the pair are flying over this week to join in with the Wings pre-season preparations.

He said: We have got some lads coming in from Canada who have contacted the club and paid for their own flights over.

They have shown a willingness to come over, so I think its only fair that we have a look at them, possibly on Thursday in training and see if they are good enough to get involved in Saturdays game.

What's this all about?
Players flying in from Canada for the chance of a trial.

Its a shame that we nevr saw James Lawson in full flight and fully fit. I cant say I'm a fan of Joe Healy either, he's been here before and never set the world alight.

Still its about pennies at the end of the day and if James was asking too much then Daysie must balance the book and if he can get two players as opposed to one for a space then so much the better.

There are many people waiting for Joe Healy to prove them wrong-if that aint inspiration I dont know what is

Ive been thinking that if Lawson wasnt going to get many games he may want to go else where even if more money is on the table.
He hasnt played for a year so wants to play again....

For all I've said about Healy have to admit he's looking sharp and up for it so far. Didn't let Millwall bully him and can hold the ball up and isn't bad in the air. Could be useful from the bench and might be happier there to begin with than Lawson would be and Healy probably comes cheaper. Not sure he'll score goals though but who knows!

Hmmm, a 'striker' who holds the ball up but doesn't score. Reminds me of someone else whose name begins with H and ends with Y...

Hesky's done well since he retired. He put a skirt on and won Wimbledon.

Would that be England's mom v USA (notwithstanding one gilt edged miss) by any chance!

Funny I've just read an article about plagiarising old jokes.
