Following the success of some of the advertising of Pre season posters, I have drawn up one for AUGUST'S Home fixtures.

I've handed Barry Hobbins a template to print and if anyone wants me to email them one to print and place in Cafes, Shop windows, Pubs, Work Places etc... then PM me or just Copy The One On this post.

I went to Erith yesterday and there was a poster in a sports shop advertising DARTFORD 1ST 3 HOMES GAMES, plus i went in a chip shop Tuesday in Greenford West London and there was a list of all of Hayes and Yeading fixtures for the season... We are still missing a trick and need to work on the commercial side as far as i know we still have NO COMMERCIAL manager and could advertise fixtures better to get more through the gate to boost the coffers..

WSU quiz first Friday in September for ya diarys

I think some people's attitude towards Welling United is a bit odd. There are many people in Welling that give up their spare time to work in the many charity shops in the highstreet, lots of people donate money/items to charity, plenty of other people do many other things to make Welling a better place to live in. However, if these same people were asked to help out Welling United in some way, they would reply 'sorry, I'm too busy' or 'No mate, there's a recession on' :/ There surely must be someone out there with a good knowledge of commerce that can spare a day a week to help the club out in some manner.

I Agree with you Spud Im trying my best to help promote etc welling Its A Case of I've provided the poster and I Have done the rest of the seasons fixtures for each month and as each month passes I will post them on the forum, Facebook etc as i did with the Pre season matches.
I Admit that being unemployed i have more time than most to do these things.

Its a case of people Who are interested in helping please do so.
At WSU meetings im full of ideas some of which get turned down but i've always got some scheme going on and at the moment am working with Patsy on raising Funds, Ie Band nights, Auction, Raffles, etc  And Other functions in the pipe line till March Next year.

once again having a pop at other clubs on here from jgfc will not help welling get people through the gate,
I know the sports shop in Erith and it is run by a Dartford supporter so that is what you would expect him to advertise,

we need to get our advetising out there as well

Exactly why Welling suffer with lack of support and sponsors

is it any wonder people will not come to the ground if this is the attitude on the forum

If you think that potential supporters or potential sponsors visit a forum you are an imbecile.

Poor Trolling. You will only catch the incredibly thick in your net.

Who had a pop at another club? Saying there are Dartford posters in shops in Erith is a statement of fact more along the lines of Welling are missing a trick and it wasn't JgFc anyway.

I will give £1000 to charity if this is not Welling Hater, JgFc hater and Dartford Fan Wings63 trying to stir. Just ignore him people, a particularly silly person who has to mention that in his warped opinion Dartford are bigger, better (lets not forget have bigger crowds) and that welling will struggle to get players or crowds.... in every post of his.

I would like Bruno to confirm if this is or is likely to be Wings63. And i put forward that the idiot is banned for trying to incite Welling fans into a response to his Dartford Love-in and anti Welling campaign.

This does indeed appear to be the same person and I believe they may well have posted using another id. I have given the benefit of doubt on previous occasions but quite clearly he has a hidden agenda and is I believe using multiple identities to further it on the forum. In these circumstances he has been banned.

Oi ! jgfc, quick question. If its a just Welling forum, why do you keep starting threads about Dartford??? Hidden agenda maybe?

Dartford are a local "rival" now they are at the same level as us after 25 years or more being lower, and as i cant be arsed posting on their forum and Wings fans have read elsewhere many many times of the huge man utd sized crowds and the fact you will win the league by September amd are a massive club.

I dont feel anything has been posted that is over the line, and if you dont like it then dont read it, The forum is for Welling United fans to chat about relevant things. Seems to be plenty of Dartford fans with agendas on here. Dont remember seeing one Welling fan arsed enough to post on your forum.

Now if there was some particularly nasty stuff or inciting i can understand you having the hump.

You have to admit for a club to go on and on and on about attendances and then to get crap crowds in pre season its going to draw comment from other local people.

Ive read some of the stuff other Dartford rivals have posted over the last years and this included threats of violence etc, so i do feel you are over reacting, as it is a Welling Forum and there has been nothing out of order posted.

Dartanian.

It isnt JUST a Welling forum but IMHO some key points to remember.

1) If you dont like it dont read it, its obviously going to be biased towards Welling United and in the main used by Welling Fans.
2) If you are going to post anti welling views as SOME Darts have on here, you must be ready for a bit of stick back on here.
3) Its an internet forum, chillax.

Yawn , very interesting mate, but still the question.....
Why do you keep starting threads about Dartford? Try talking  about your own team. (That is welling, right?)
